The pipe coupling module includes a pipe branch section diverging from the distribution pipe, a pipe connection socket coupled directly to the pipe branch section, and a pipe joint unit coupling the flexible pipe, wherein the pipe branch section and the pipe connection socket are formed of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), and are joined by means of a solvent cement.

The device includes a sleeve for gripping around the pipe and locking the endpiece, the sleeve having a radially inner part surrounding an annular sealing lining mounted in abutment on the endpiece; and a metal socket having a tubular portion gripped by the pipe and ending in a collar formed by a radial step which extends in an axial end and has a radial height, the axial end being mounted inside and in contact with the radially inner part and forming the base of a groove receiving the lining, the device comprising means for fitting the sleeve to the collar and comprising a continuous peripheral projection formed in one piece with the sleeve. According to the invention the projection projects radially in abutment against the step aver most of the radial height.

A valve or other device is attached to the end of a garden hose by means of an adapter that is first attached by swaging to an end of the hose. The adapter has a prong end that is pushed into the bore of the valve and is held there irreversibly by a retaining ring that is carried in a groove of the prong end, to mate with a groove in the bore. An O-ring seal prevents leakage.

HOSE ENDING, MAINLY AS CONNECTING ELEMENT

Hose has a body (3) and a mouthpiece (1) connected with the body (3). The mouthpiece (1) is slidably placed against the body (3); it is designed for mounting of the end of the hose and it has a thickening (2). The ending has a circumferential stop (4) placed in the axis of the mouthpiece (1), whereby the stop (4) has on its circumference a touch surface which is oriented inside, against the thickening (2) on the mouthpiece (1). The mouthpiece (1) can be sealed by sealing ring (7) against the body (3), whereby the ring (7) is placed in the sealing zone (9), or the mouthpiece (1) can be connected with the body (3) by a flexible bellow. During the movement of the mouthpiece (1) outside the touch surface of the stop (4) and the outer surface of the hose in the zone with the thickening (2) draw closer and the hose is held on the mouthpiece (1) by the underpressure between the surface of the stop (4) and the thickening (2). The increasing pressure in the hose increases the underpressure of the hose on the mouthpiece (1 ) which increases the sealing effect of the joint.
