Porlable Urinal For the Frequent Urrinator or The Disabled
A portable urinal designed to collect urine from one location and deposit that urine into another location for disposal (e.g. drain). The invention enables a person to remain sedentary while urinating and waste disposal.
FLUID CONDUIT CONNECTOR
A connector comprises one or more spirals securing a fluid conduit to the connector for fluid communication with another hollow object such as another fluid conduit. The spiral(s) press/compress and seal the conduit around an outer circumference of an end of rigid, hollow insert of the connector. Another portion of the connector may comprise spiral(s) that press/compress and seal a second conduit around a second end of the insert, or may comprise a hose-coupler that connects to a second conduit. Thus, two fluid conduits may be fluid-sealed to an inner-passageway of the insert, by tightened spiral(s) or by tightened spiral(s) and coupler combination, so the conduits are in fluid communication with each other. The spiral(s) may be retained in, and released from, the tightened condition, by a ratchet mechanism and an unlatching mechanism, respectively.
Integrated piping conduit with adapter device and method
Embodiments of an integrated piping conduit in accordance with aspects of the present invention include a push-to-connect fitting integrated with an adaptor device and associated methods. Embodiments include an adaptor having a body portion, and an ear member extending at least partially radially outwardly and at least partially axially outwardly from the outer surface of the body portion.
Sealing device between a tube and a column passing through the latter, method for mounting same
The invention relates to a sealing device (30) intended to be fixed against an edge of a tube and against a column. According to the invention, the body (3060) thereof comprises guides (3030), distributed around its cavity (316) between an inner side (3064) that opens into the cavity (316) and an outer side (3062) that opens out against a concentric clamping ring (305), mounted so as to rotate about the axis (A), fingers (303) integral with outer actuating members (3031) being guided in the guides (3030), the ring (305) having actuating zones (3051) that are able to be positioned against the members (3031) so as make the fingers (303) protrude into the cavity (316) by sliding in order to clamp the fingers (303) against the edge of the tube when the ring (305) and the base (306) are in a first position of relative rotation, the ring (305) and the base (306) being able to pass, by rotation about the axis (A), between the first position and a second position in which the zones (3051) are spaced apart from the members (3031) so as to allow the fingers (303) to be returned into the body (3060).
Connection device for pipes in general
A connection device for pipes including a first hose-holder (18) mounted on an end portion (3) of the pipe, a second hose holder (16) mounted on the other end portion (6) of the same pipe and a connection element (15) for the connection of the first and second hose-holders (18,16). The connection element (15) consists of a substantially tubular body having a longitudinal hole (30), and a circulating ball portion (17) for the connection to one of the first hose-holder (18) or the second hose-holder (16).
Termination arrangement for use in a horizontal connection system
A termination arrangement for use in a horizontal connection system for subsea connection of a first tubular member to a second tubular member, the termination arrangement including a base structure with a horizontal tubular body. The first tubular member is rotatably mounted to the tubular body through an annular bearing. An internal fluid chamber accommodating a liquid having heat-storing capacity is formed inside the tubular body and delimited at one end by the annular bearing and at another end by a rear end wall. A section of the first tubular member extends through the fluid chamber and is in contact with the liquid in the fluid chamber so as to allow the liquid to delay cooling of this section of the first tubular member by means of heat stored in the liquid.

Apparatus for attachment of accessories to processing equipment
A temperature-controlled fluid processing system with accessory attachment mechanism includes an accessory annular ring feature a mounting surface and a tapered surface sloping toward a central axis of the ring feature and away from the mounting surface, and engaging components on the primary device, including concentric annular member and rotation plate. The annular member includes spaced apart through holes housing spring biased pins. The rotation plate surrounds the annular member, and includes one or more ramped inner surface(s). The plate is rotatable between an unattached position wherein the ramped surfaces apply no radial inward force to the spring-biased pins, and an attached position wherein each ramped surface displaces a pin inward through its corresponding through hole such that the conical tip of the spring-biased pin engages the tapered surface of the ring feature, thereby immobilizing the accessory with respect to a head unit of the fluid processing device.
METHODS OF FORMING A PIPE JOINT BETWEEN A PIPE SECTION AND A PIPE FITTING
A method of forming a pipe joint between a pipe section and a pipe fitting includes inserting an end of the pipe section into a socket of the pipe fitting, and attaching a removable clamp to the pipe section and pipe fitting. The socket includes a centering device and a pipe stop that is configured to receive the end of the pipe section. The clamp includes a plurality of arcuate segments and a tightening mechanism, and each arcuate member has a removable/replaceable sealing member. The arcuate members are radially compressed via the tightening mechanism to cause the respective sealing members to seal an open end of the gap. A bonding agent is then injected into the gap via a port that extends through the pipe fitting. Once the bonding agent has been injected, the clamp is removed and can be reused.
