STORAGE MEDIUM HAVING INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM STORED THEREIN, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An example of an information processing apparatus acquires action data based on an output of a sensor according to a fitness action performed by a player, and executes a game event. In the game event, the information processing apparatus designates at least one type of fitness event from among a plurality of types of fitness events. Each fitness event causes the player to perform a fitness action. During the game event, the information processing apparatus executes a fitness event that causes the player to perform a fitness action corresponding to the designated fitness event until an ending condition is satisfied. The information processing apparatus determines whether or not the achievement condition has been satisfied, based on the action data acquired during the fitness event. The information processing apparatus repeats designation and execution of the fitness event until it is determined that the achievement condition has been satisfied.

SMART ELECTRONIC WRIST DEVICE WORN BY HUMAN SUBJECTS FOR WIRELESS HEART RATE MONITORING IN REAL-TIME
Embodiments herein describe a wristband for securing a smart electronic wrist device to the human subject. A heart rate sensor, coupled to the wristband of one embodiment, attaches to the human subject, and to generate electronic signals responsive to the heart rate of the human subject. An analog to digital signal converting circuit (ADC), electronically coupled to the heart rate sensor, to receive electrical signals generated by the heart rate sensor. A digital signal encoding circuit, electronically coupled to the ADC, to convert the electrical signals to data signals. A wireless communication interface to transmit the digital signals wirelessly to a handheld phone call device. The handheld cellular device includes a physiological processor for analysis of the data signals concerning the heart rate of the human subject.
Systems and methods of interactive exercising
A computer system includes a memory, at least one processor coupled to the memory, and a user interface component executable by the at least one processor. The user interface component is configured to receive information descriptive of a pace at which a user is exercising, determine a playback speed for video content having an audio component, the playback speed determined with reference to the pace at which the user is exercising, present the video content at the playback speed, generate a plurality of audio frames from the audio component of the video content, the plurality of audio frames being generated with reference to the pace at which the user is exercising, and present the plurality of audio frames to the user.
SMART ELECTRONIC WRIST DEVICE WORN BY HUMAN SUBJECTS FOR WIRELESS HEART RATE MONITORING AND NETWORKING IN REAL-TIME
Embodiments herein describe a wristband for securing the smart electronic wrist device to the human subject. A heart rate sensor, coupled to the wristband of one embodiment, attaches to the human subject, and to generate electronic signals responsive to the heart rate of the human subject. A digital signal encoding circuit, electronically coupled to the ADC, to convert the electrical signals to data signals. A wireless communication interface to transmit the digital signals wirelessly to a handheld phone call device. The handheld cellular device is wirelessly coupled to the smart electronic wrist device to receive data concerning the human subject derived from the data hear rate signals, and is also coupled to the data communication network to transmit the data heart rate signal.
Locking device for recumbent stepper
A locking device for an exercise system may include a locking member having a contact portion and configured to move between a first position and a second position. When in the first position, the contact portion of the locking member is not in mechanical communication with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system, thereby allowing movement of the at least one moveable assembly. When in the second position, the contact portion of the locking member is in mechanical communication with the resistance mechanism of the exercise system, thereby preventing movement of the at least one moveable assembly.
Interactive Floor and Amusement Systems and Methods Employing Same
An amusement system features an interactive floor with an array of panels laid out in one or more grids to collectively define an interactive floor surface, an illumination system operable to individually illuminate each panel, and a sensing system operable to detect presence of any participant atop any panel. A base frame of the interactive floor is composed of a plurality of base modules seated on a subfloor, and supporting a respective panel for one or more cells of the interactive floor. The base modules are not directly fastened together, and instead are only intercoupled by perimeter seals applied over peripheral regions of the panels of neighbouring modules. Separation of the modules is constrained by surrounding walls of a room fully occupied by the interactive floor. In gameplay, some panels are distinctively illuminated as hazards to be avoided by participants, subject to penalty.
Information processing system, non-transitory storage medium having stored therein information processing program, information processing apparatus, and information processing method
An example of an information processing system sequentially executes a plurality of exercise events, and a user executes exercises corresponding to the exercise events, thereby causing a game to progress. The user sets in advance an exercise that the user wishes to avoid. When an exercise corresponding to an exercise event is the exercise set in advance by the user, a button operation is performed instead of the exercise, thereby causing the game to progress.
EXERCISE MACHINE PLATFORM FOR EMULATION OF REALISTIC MOVEMENT
An exercise machine platform that allows for emulation of the natural movements of real-world modes of transportation in stationary exercise machines such as bicycles, rowing machines, elliptical machines, and treadmills. The exercise machine platform comprises a base with one or more powered lifting mechanisms, a frame supported by the lifting mechanisms of the base which allows for roll, pitch, and/or vertical displacement movements, and a rocker plate supported by the frame that allows for additional independent movement from the roll, pitch, and/or vertical displacement movements of the frame. A dampening system controls the additional independent movement between the frame and rocker plate.
SPORTS COMPETITION SERVER HOSTING GAMES BETWEEN REMOTE OPPONENTS USING PHYSICAL SPORTS IMPLEMENTS IN REAL-TIME
Real-time sports competition is hosted by a server between remote opponents. The interactive sports game play involves sport specific tools simulating equipment used for in-person sports competition with projectiles. Opponents are paired for sports competition using the sport specific tools, including identifying opponents from the plurality of players to compete. A competitive sports game is hosted between the paired opponents by receiving input from each player sourced from a sport specific tool with sensors to determine motion of the specific sport tool caused by players, and wireless circuitry to transmit motion data to the user computers, wherein motion data includes at least velocity and impact force against a projectile. A winner of the competitive sports game can be determined.
