The installation means may include a storage device for storing at least one connection fitting intended for installation, a conveyance device for conveying a connection fitting to be installed from the storage device to an installation location, and an insertion device for inserting the connection fitting conveyed to the installation pad or platform from the installation pad or platform into the aperture formed in the wall of the main pipeline.
Pipe attaching structure of fuel tank
In a pipe attaching structure of a fuel tank, a pipe attachment section and the fuel tank are molded simultaneously, and the pipe attachment section can be securely molded. In the pipe attaching structure of the fuel tank, which is provided with a pipe attachment section adapted to attach pipes to an exterior wall of the fuel tank, the fuel tank has the pipe attachment section elongating from the exterior wall of the fuel tank outwardly of the fuel tank so as to be integral therewith. The pipe attachment section has an attaching exterior wall composed of the same material with that of the exterior wall of the fuel tank so as to elongate into a cylindrical configuration and continue integrally with the exterior wall of the fuel tank outwardly thereof, and an attaching interior wall formed inside the attaching exterior wall so as to continue from a tip end of the attaching exterior wall and bend like a hairpin, and the attaching exterior wall and the attaching interior wall are brought into contact with each other.
Snap tap mounting jig
Provided is a snap tap mounting jig for mounting a snap tap where the generation of buckling can be prevented by reducing a diameter enlarging pressing force of a diameter enlarging roller, a shim can be mounted on both end surfaces of the diameter enlarging roller, and a fold-back deformation amount of a metal sleeve can be checked from the outside. The snap tag mounting jig is also characterized as follows. The diameter enlarging roller is formed into a hyperboloid shape, and the recessed portion is formed such that a substantially upper half portion of the diameter enlarging roller mounted obliquely is formed into a substantially tapered shape, and a substantially lower half portion of the diameter enlarging roller mounted obliquely is formed into a rounded shape. An inclination angle of the diameter enlarging roller mounted obliquely falls within a range of from 65 degrees to 77 degrees, and a recessed groove portion is formed on an upper end surface and a lower end surface of the diameter enlarging roller, and a shim is fitted into the recessed groove portion.
CONNECTOR
A connector, a connector assembly, an aircraft fuel breather system and an aircraft wing are disclosed. The connector connects a breather pipe or float valve to a hat section stringer duct attached to an aircraft panel. The connecter has a bridge to bridge over the duct and to cover an aperture in a wall of the duct. The bridge has a flange on either side for attachment of the connector to the panel. The connector has a seal to seal the bridge to the duct, an aperture defined in the bridge and a flow controller connector to connect and provide fluid connection between the connector and pipe or float valve. The assembly comprises the connector, the duct and aircraft panel and the fuel breather system includes one or more fuel tanks, a breather pipe and a vent to atmosphere.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A POLYMER-IMPROVED PIPE ELEMENT
A method and apparatus for the automated or partially automated production of a polymer-enhanced pipe element, which include: providing a first pipe section and a second pipe section, each having a connecting region; detecting in the connecting regions a three-dimensional shape of the first pipe section and the second pipe section; determining a spatial penetration curve as a function of a superposition of the three-dimensional shapes; determining a cut contour, as a function of the penetration curve, in each of the connecting regions of the first pipe section and the second pipe section; generating edge surfaces in the connecting regions of the first and second pipe sections along the respective cut contours; aligning the generated edge surfaces of the pipe sections; and welding the first and second pipe sections along the mutually aligned edge surfaces along the determined spatial penetration curve.
Turbine housing weld repair
A repaired turbine housing for use in an air cycle machine including a journal bearing bore having an inlet, an outlet, and an inner diameter of about 2.5800.001 inches (6.5530.003 centimeters). The repaired turbine housing including a cylindrical insert secured within the journal bearing bore. The cylindrical insert having a first end, a second end, an inner surface, a step located at the first end, and an outer surface with an outer diameter that provides a diametric interference with the inner diameter of the journal bearing bore. The diametric interference being between about 0.000-0.003 inches (0.000-0.008 centimeters). The cylindrical insert being inserted into the inlet of the journal bearing bore up to the step. The step has an outer diameter greater than the outer diameter of the cylindrical insert. The inner surface of the cylindrical insert includes at least one selected inner diameter.
Conduit coupling adapter
A conduit coupling adapter for securing attaching a conduit to an enclosure is disclosed. The conduit coupling adapter generally includes a first end for receiving a conduit and attaching to it via an adhesive, and a second end coupled to the second end comprises threads and is configured for attaching to an enclosure using a locknut.
