SNAP TAP MOUNTING JIG
Provided is a snap tap mounting jig for mounting a snap tap where the generation of buckling can be prevented by reducing a diameter enlarging pressing force of a diameter enlarging roller, a shim can be mounted on both end surfaces of the diameter enlarging roller, and a fold-back deformation amount of a metal sleeve can be checked from the outside. The snap tap mounting jig is also characterized as follows. The diameter enlarging roller is formed into a Japanese-hand-drum shape, and the recessed portion is formed such that a substantially upper half portion of the diameter enlarging roller mounted obliquely is formed into a substantially tapered shape, and a substantially lower half portion of the diameter enlarging roller mounted obliquely is formed into a rounded shape. An inclination angle of the diameter enlarging roller mounted obliquely falls within a range of from 65 degrees to 77 degrees, and a recessed groove portion is formed on an upper end surface and a lower end surface of the diameter enlarging roller, and a shim is fitted into the recessed groove portion.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF FORMING CONNECTORS BRACKETS FOR IRRIGATION LATERALS ALONG AN ALREADY MADE LAY-FLAT PIPE
Apparatus and method of forming connector brackets for irrigation laterals along a prefabricated lay-flat pipe and lay-flat pipe with such connector's brackets, wherein an opening is formed at one wall of the premanufactured pipe, a separation means is positioned inside the pipe opposite the opening while separating the one wall from the second wall of the pipe, and an injunction molding is performed into a mold cavity, in order to form the bracket affixed to the one wall of the prefabricated pipe and around the opening.
Pipe connection, in particular for a heat exchanger
The application relates to a pipe connection having a pipe end arranged in a connection piece. The pipe connection has an outwardly projecting at least sectionally circumferential bead configured on a pipe end. The connection piece has a radially deformable first connection piece portion creating a first radially deformable connection piece portion. The pipe end is held and secured in the connection piece using the first radially deformable connection piece portion. The application further relates to a heat exchanger with a pipe connection of this kind and a connection method for producing a pipe connection.
Heat exchanger manifold and a heat exchanger equipped with such a manifold
Header for a heat exchanger and resulting heat exchanger are disclosed. The tubular header is of the type which can receive at least one connecting flange (5, 6) with an internal fluid passage (25), and is composed of: a header plate (8) with a longitudinally open wall, provided with slots intended to receive parallel fluid flow tubes; and a cover (9) which, after assembly, closes a longitudinal opening of said header plate, the wall of this cover having at least one external collar (28) delimiting a hole for the flow of fluid (27), said connecting flange (5, 6) being attached to said cover (9) and being configured in such a way that it can be crimped onto the header (3, 4), thereby bringing the internal passage (25) into fluid communication with the hole (27) in said collar. Advantageously, said collar (28) has a wall thickness (33) which is reduced relative to that of said cover (9) from which the collar extends, thereby maximizing the cross section of said hole (27) for the flow of fluid toward the internal passage (25) of said flange.
Tube transition
A tube transition fitting is formed having a first end, a second end, a head, a body, a weld area, and a first wall thickness and second wall thickness. A tube seat is formed on a surface connected to the body, the surface being adjacent a transition from the first wall thickness to the second wall thickness. A tube transition assembly includes a header portion, the tube transition fitting, and a heat exchange tube, each being connected using one or more simplified and/or heat-optimized connections.
SANITARY TEE OR WYE FITTING COMPONENT AND USE IN A DWV SYSTEM
An internal boss can have an outer side surface shaped to match the bored opening of the DWV pipe, an inner side surface shaped to align with an interior pipe surface of the sanitary Tee or Wye fitting component, and an internal face surface of the boss extending between the side surfaces and shaped to align with an interior pipe surface of the DWV pipe when welded thereto. Snap-fit wings can hold the interior face surface of the sanitary Tee or Wye fitting component against an exterior face surface of the DWV pipe while the fitting component and DWV pipe are homogeneously weldable into a single DWV fitting using a solvent mixture including a common plastic material. Related methods and single homogeneous fittings are also provided.
INSULATED SOLUTION INJECTOR, SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF INJECTING USING THE SAME
An insulated solution injector may include an outer tube and an inner tube arranged within the outer tube. The outer tube and the inner tube may define an annular space therebetween, and the inner tube may define a solution space within. The annular space may be configured so as to insulate the solution within the solution space. As a result, the solution may be kept to a temperature below its decomposition temperature prior to injection. Accordingly, the decomposition of the solution and the resulting deposition of its constituents within the solution space may be reduced or prevented, thereby decreasing or precluding the occurrence of a blockage.
Modular fitting for expansion vessels
A pipe fitting for expansion tanks includes a first part suited to be fixed to an expansion tank during production of the expansion tank, and a second part suited to be fixed to the first part, if necessary, even at a later moment than the production of the expansion tank.
Measuring tube for a flow measuring device and flow measuring device
A measuring tube for a flow measuring device, wherein the measuring tube has a measuring tube axis A and a measuring tube wall. The measuring tube has a branch with a branch axis B and a wall of the branch, wherein the wall of the branch is arranged on the measuring tube wall, and the wall of the branch is connected with the measuring tube wall by a welded joint. In the transitional region between the wall of the branch and the measuring tube wall there is a specially embodied thickening of the material, which is either part of the wall of the branch or part of the measuring tube wall.
PIPING SYSTEM COMPRISING PIPE BLOCK
A piping system including a pipe and a pipe block coupled to an end of the pipe. The pipe includes: a flange positioned at the end and protruding in a radially outward direction along an outer circumference of the pipe; and a coupling portion having a nipple that is inserted into the pipe block. The pipe block includes: an insertion hole into which the pipe is coupled; and a lip protruding from a surface in which the insertion hole is formed in a circumferential direction along an outer circumference of the insertion hole. An inner diameter of the lip is equal to or greater than an outer diameter of the flange, and when the pipe is coupled to the pipe block, the flange is positioned inside the lip and the lip is deformed in a radially inward direction of the pipe to grip and fix the pipe.
