RESTRAINED GASKET FOR PLASTIC PIPES
A gasket for preventing the separation of a pipe joint formed between plastic pipes such as pipes manufactured from PVC. The invention provides an internally restrained pipe joint including a bell with a substantially V-shaped annular groove. The annular groove includes a front radial wall and a rear radial wall and a gasket seated in the annular groove. The gasket includes an inner radial face, an opening defined by the inner radial face and an outer radial face with a front radial section located adjacent to the front radial wall of the annular groove and a rear radial section located adjacent to the rear radial wall of the annular groove. A plurality of toothed, rigid restraining segments is at least partially embedded in the gasket.

RESTRAINED PLASTIC PIPE JOINT AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A gasket for preventing the separation of a pipe joint formed between plastic pipes such as pipes manufactured from PVC. The invention provides a restrained pipe joint including a first pipe including a bell with a spigot entryway and a substantially V-shaped annular groove. Insertion Stop for Preventing Overinsertion in Plastic Pipe Systems
A method is shown for joining and sealing a female plastic pipe end having a belled end opening to a mating male plastic pipe end having an interior surface and an exterior surface. A sealing element is installed within a groove formed in the belled end of the female pipe section. The male pipe end is then inserted into the end opening of the female pipe end so that the elastomeric sealing gasket makes sealing contact with the exterior surface of the male pipe. A control mechanism located on the exterior surface of the male pipe end controls the distance the male pipe travels longitudinally within the end opening of the female plastic pipe to prevent overinsertion of the male pipe within the female pipe opening

PIPE JOINT INSERT DEVICE, PIPE JOINT ASSEMBLY, AND METHODS OF FORMING SAME
A polymer pipe includes a length between a first end and a second end, the length and the first end having a first diameter. The second end is a belled or female end having a second diameter larger than the first diameter. An insert device is received within the second end and has an annular body formed of a body material and has a spline portion formed as a part of the insert device. The spline portion includes a spline carried by the insert device and resiliently movable in a radial direction relative to an axis of the annular body.

Pipe gasket seal assist
Pipe sections are often connected together with a spigot end received within a bell end and a gasket provided there between. An assist may be helpful to apply at least a tension if not move the gasket towards a gap between the bell end and an exterior surface of the spigot end of the two pipe portions, and/or against the exterior surface of the spigot end so as to improve the likelihood of an adequate seal.
