Shut-off flap
A shut-off flap with a flap-shaped shut-off element, which is supported within a housing in such a way that it can swivel around a rotation axis and which contains a flap disk staggered relative to the rotation axis and lateral hubs to hold two drive shafts which are supported in such a way that they can rotate in the housing. In order to make possible an improvement of the throughflow and a reduction of the actuation torque, flow deflection elements are located on the two hubs.
Garden hose
A flexible hose having an inner tube member made from a thermoplastic elastomeric material and an outer tube member made from a fabric like material. The inner tube member is secured to the outer tube member only at an inlet coupler and an outlet coupler. The inlet coupler is constructed to secure to a water supply provided from a conventional household water spigot. The outlet coupler incorporates a flow restrictor allowing the inner tube member to equalize in pressure with pressurized water received from the water supply. Pressurized water expands the elongated inner tube member longitudinally along a length of the inner tube member and laterally across a width of the inner tube member thereby substantially increasing the length of the hose to an expanded condition wherein the hose contracts to a substantially decreased length when there is a decrease in pressurized water.
Water port closure assembly
A closure assembly for a fluid port having a fluid flow channel defined along an axis, the channel ending in a port opening. The assembly includes: a closure cap extending in a first plane arranged to seat across, and close the port opening, in use, in a closed state, a guide arm extending from the cap in a second plane substantially perpendicular to the first plane; a lifting guide to accommodate and retain the guide arm for movement of the guide arm in the second plane as the cap moves axially away from the opening; and a pivot mechanism between the guide arm and the lifting guide about which the cap is able to pivot relative to the lifting guide to an open position.
DUST-SHIELD DEVICE FOR HYDRAULIC FITTINGS AND HYDRAULIC CONNECTION ELEMENT
The invention relates to a dust-shield device for a hydraulic connection to which a hydraulic socket can be connected and disconnected, comprising: a body provided with a bushing designed to be inserted onto said hydraulic fitting, a cap rotatable between a closed position for protecting said hydraulic fitting in its disconnected state and an open position for accessing said hydraulic fitting in its connected state; and a spherical head attached to a lower end of the body and a chute connected the spherical head by a ball-joint connection; and a channel formed in the body extending from the bushing to the spherical head.
SEALING CLAMP ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR CLEARING AND LEAK TESTING FUEL LINES OF GAS TURBINE FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM
A clamp assembly for selectively blocking flow while clearing and leak testing a fuel line of a gas turbine fuel supply system is provided. The clamp assembly includes a clamp body configured to surround a flanged joint of the fuel line. A seal is rotatably held between the clamp body portions and includes a hollow ear in fluid communication with a center hole of the seal. The seal includes a tab or pin with which the seal can be rotated between a sealed position and an unsealed position. In the unsealed position, the hollow ear is aligned with the vent, and in the sealed position, the hollow ear is blocked by internal surfaces of the clamp body. Embodiments include a locking assembly allowing the seal to be locked in one and/or both of the open and closed positions.
LID AND LID SYSTEM
A lid (3) adapted for fluid tight sealing engagement with an opening (2) in a closed system where a pressure on an outside of the closed system is higher than a pressure on an inside of the closed system, wherein the lid is arranged to perform a pivoting movement around a pivot axis for opening the lid.
VALVE KIT WITH INSERTION VALVE AND CUTTING ASSEMPLY
Systems and methods for cutting an existing pipe carrying a fluid under pressure include using a cutting assembly having first and second linear cutters spaced by a lateral width. The cutters are moved from a retracted position to an extended position thereby to cut a coupon from the existing pipe. An insertion valve may then be installed on the existing pipe at the location where the coupon was removed. The insertion valve includes a valve element that is movable between open and closed positions. In some examples, the systems and methods include a check valve that moves from an open position to a closed position as the valve element moves from the closed position to the open position, thereby to facilitate repair and/or replacement of the insertion valve.
