Cap having a low cost construction and a self retaining feature
A cap for closing an open end of a duct tube has a cylindrical side wall having a length between a closed end and an open end of the side wall. An end wall extends across the closed end of the side wall. A conical section of the side wall extends outwardly from the open end of the side wall and has an interior surface configured to guide an end of a duct tube into a hollow interior volume of the side wall. A groove in an interior surface of the side wall is configured to receive a bead around an end of a duct tube inserted through the conical section and into the hollow interior of the side wall. A plurality of pull tabs extend outwardly from the conical section and are configured to be manually pulled, pulling the cap over the end of the duct tube.
Conduit coupling apparatus and method
A coupling may be configured to receive and secure an insertion end of a conduit. An outer surface of the insertion end of the conduit may be smooth and free of grooves, flanges and beads. A first member of the coupling may define a first passageway. A second member of the coupling may define a second passageway. The first member may be in engagement with the second member. A gripping ring having an inner edge defining a series of teeth may be disposed within the second member. A support ring and O-ring may also be disposed within the second member.
Pest control assembly
A pest control assembly is configured to prevent pests from entering a structure. The pest control assembly has a plumbing system, with a drain line joined to a first cleanout. A ledge is arranged on the first cleanout. A pest control insert placed upon the ledge and further comprising a cylindrical body further having a plurality of openings are arranged upon an upper half of the cylindrical body. A chlorine gas emitted from the cylindrical body through the plurality of openings prevents pests from entering the structure.
Pressure test plug for improved tubular threaded component
A plug for a pressure test configured for a tubular component, the tubular component including a male threaded element at a free end, the male threaded element including a male thread and a sealing surface, the plug including a thread compatible with the male thread, an inner annular groove, and a sealing ring held in the groove such that the sealing ring is radially compressed between an outer periphery of the male threaded element and a bottom of the inner annular groove.
System for securing a casing and a cover of a housing element
A housing element for food applications having a casing made of metallic material and a cover made of composite material and having a bottom surface which is closed or provided with a through-hole. The housing element is provided with a system for securing the cover on the casing, comprising at least two steps which are formed on the cover and which engage with interference inside at least two corresponding grooves formed on the casing.
Working station for a packaging machine
A working station for a packaging machine, wherein the working station has a lifting unit having a pressure source and a lifting actuator connected to the pressure source. The lifting actuator comprises a hose comprising a wall having an inner surface and an outer surface disposed opposite the inner surface, and a seal having a seal cap engaging the outer surface. The seal further comprises an insert engaging the inner surface. Furthermore, the seal clamps a clamping portion of the wall of the hose between the insert and the seal cap in a fluidtight, preferably gastight, manner.
Sure-seal cleanout conduit valve assemblies and methods
Cleanout conduit valve assemblies for a cleanout conduit may include a vertically oriented valve housing. The valve housing may include a valve inlet end configured to be disposed in fluid communication with the cleanout conduit and a valve discharge end opposite to and generally above the valve inlet end. The valve discharge end may be oriented within a valve discharge plane disposed at a discharge angle of greater than 0 degrees with respect to a horizontal plane. The valve discharge end may have an upper discharge opening side and a lower discharge opening side sloped downwardly from the upper discharge opening side. A valve body may be pivotally carried by the valve housing at the upper discharge opening side of the valve discharge end. Methods of preventing precipitation and runoff on a ground surface from entering a cleanout conduit connected to a sewer service line are also disclosed.
PRE-ASSEMBLED COUPLING ASSEMBLY WITH CAP
A cap configured for engagement with a coupling, the cap defining an inner end and an outer end, the cap defining an axis extending from the inner end to the outer end, the cap defining a raised lip, a sealing surface, and a groove, the raised lip axially positioned at the inner end, the sealing surface positioned between the raised lip and the groove.
TEMPORARY TRAP DOOR CAP
A temporary trap door cap device for sealing around a pressure-leaking trap door at an end of a pipeline terminating in a trap includes a canister formed from a longitudinally extending pipe having an open end and a closed end; and an annular rim connected to the open end, with an inner diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the canister. The annular rim is configured such that the inner diameter of the annular rim fits over the trap door of the trap terminating the pipeline. After the annular rim has passed over the trap door, the inner diameter of the annular rim is compressible against a body of the trap terminating the pipeline so as to seal an inner volume of the canister pressure-tight thereby containing the trap door within the pressure-tight volume.
