TUBULAR CONNECTOR

A connector includes a connecting body with a fluid passage at least part way therethrough, and a seal is provided with an outer portion of a fluid tube. A cartridge proximate to the connecting body has a hollow portion therethrough. A grab part has at least one tooth to retain the fluid tube and is between the cartridge and the seal. A demount part within the hollow portion moves the teeth to allow release of the fluid tube. A latch is located on one of the connecting body or a sleeve covering at least part of the cartridge or the connecting body. A mating catch is located on the other of the sleeve or the connecting body, and engagement of the latch with the catch connects the sleeve to the connecting body and helps restrain cartridge movement.

Safety system for cam lock couplings
11112046 · 2021-09-07 ·

A female coupling component for a cam and groove coupling, consisting of a chamber mounted to or built into the exterior of the female coupling component, containing a latching member to be used as a safety lock when used in conjunction with a male coupling component. The latching member will interlock with a radial groove on a male coupling component. To unlock the female coupling component, an intentional movement including pushing, twisting, and/or pulling, etc. of the latching member is applied such a way as to allow the male component to be inserted or removed. The female cam and groove coupling will work on any like-sized male coupling component (i.e., 3″ female to 3″ male) without any modifications necessary to the male coupling required.

END CAP

An end cap for sealing an end of an existing pipe comprising a cylindrical cap member, the cylindrical cap member comprising an open end and a closed end, a clamp coupled to a band, a band track present along an exterior of the cylindrical cap member, the band encompassing the band track and one or more ribs present on an interior of the cylindrical cap member opposite to the band track. A method of using the end cap to seal an end of an existing pipe, comprising unlocking the clamp, inserting the end cap over the end of the existing pipe and locking the clamp.

Service port cap with click lock

A service port cap has a body configured to be snapped onto a service port such as an automotive air conditioning service port. The cap has an axial slot allowing the body to spread as it is pressed onto the service port. A rubberized plug in the top of the cap bears and seals against the end of the service port. Should a fluid leak develop through the service port, the rubberized plug maintains a seal until the pressure is sufficient to overcome the seal created by the plug. At this point, the leaking fluid is directed out through the axial slot in the cap. Thus, the cap does not blow off and the flow of leaking fluid is controlled so that it does not spew. One embodiment includes a locking ring that slides to a locking position to lock the cap onto a service or other port to form a fixed seal.

PLUMBING VENT CAP REMOTE REMOVAL SYSTEM

A system, method and apparatus for removing a test seal part from a vent positioned on a roof of a structure and being removable without requiring a person on site to accomplish the same includes a test seal part having a surface for connection enabling removal, wherein the seal part removably sealably connects to the plumbing vent pipe, and a remote controlled apparatus and/or remote controller directly or indirectly removes the test seal part. The remote controlled apparatus can includes an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or a powered actuator having a receiver operably disposed adjacent the seal part in manner to actuate the seal part out of sealable connection with the vent pipe.

A subsea well intervention cap is provided. The subsea well intervention cap includes a frame, a first clamp segment coupled to the frame and configured to be fitted over a horizontally oriented flowpath of a subsea well equipment component, and a second clamp segment having a rim segment configured to interface with the first clamp segment, wherein the second clamp segment is movable with respect to the first clamp segment. The subsea well intervention cap also includes an actuation mechanism coupled to the frame that actuates the second clamp segment in a vertically upward direction and in an axial direction with respect to the frame toward the first clamp segment. The subsea well intervention cap is lightweight and able to be installed on subsea well equipment using a standard remote operated vehicle (ROV).

Bracket for positioning and protecting pipes in concrete

A bracket holds a rigid or flexible tube during the pouring of a concrete slab. The bracket has a base and a housing connected to the base. The tube curves around a first tube support on the housing before passing through an opening in the bottom of the housing. The tube and any members inside the tube are cut off so they end inside the housing and are then covered by a housing cap. The base is fastened to a form for the concrete slab. The height of the housing relative to the base is adjusted to place the cap at the planned surface of the concrete slab. After the concrete slab is formed the cap is removed and the cut members inside the housing are connected to other members or devices.

Fluid discharge suppressor

A fluid discharge suppressor can include a body having one or more internal spaces, a first cap adapted to be coupled to the body, a second cap adapted to be coupled to the first cap, and one or more ports for allowing fluid flow out of the body. A suppressor can be adapted for allowing a wireline to pass therethrough and one or more caps can be adapted to hold a packing element. A suppressor can include one or more fluid deflectors for biasing fluid flow toward one or more ports. A suppressor can be adapted to couple with a pack-off or other well equipment for suppressing fluid discharge therefrom.

CAP HAVING A LOW COST CONSTRUCTION AND A SELF RETAINING FEATURE

A cap for closing an open end of a duct tube has a cylindrical side wall having a length between a closed end and an open end of the side wall. An end wall extends across the closed end of the side wall. A conical section of the side wall extends outwardly from the open end of the side wall and has an interior surface configured to guide an end of a duct tube into a hollow interior volume of the side wall. A groove in an interior surface of the side wall is configured to receive a bead around an end of a duct tube inserted through the conical section and into the hollow interior of the side wall. A plurality of pull tabs extend outwardly from the conical section and are configured to be manually pulled, pulling the cap over the end of the duct tube.
