The embodied invention is a method and equipment suitable for a shooting game with dynamic shot recognition and automatic scoring among multiple players firing at the same target. Each player's shot is scored based on a difference in the target's image from a prior image as viewed by a camera. The scoring target is aligned with the camera, and the output of the score change is displayed to the multiple shooters.

An application likely to be accessed at an edge of the cloud computing environment is identified. The identified application is preemptively launched and then placed in a memory-resident state. When a request from a user to access the application is received, the application is brought out of the memory-resident state into an active state and parameters associated with the user are applied to the application.

A manipulating device includes an analog manipulator tiltable or slidable in a first direction perpendicular to a central line along a second direction, and a plurality of manipulating buttons disposed in surrounding relation to the analog manipulator. The manipulating buttons include a first manipulating button positioned off the central line in the first direction. The analog manipulator is tilted or slid in the first direction, a position of an upper end of the first manipulating button along the second direction is higher than a position of an outer edge of the analog manipulator which is closer to the first manipulating button, along the second direction.
