VIRTUAL RESOURCE DISPLAY METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS

A virtual resource display method is provided. In the method, at least one target virtual object is displayed in a virtual scene in response to at least one target virtual item of the virtual scene reaching a target state through user interaction. The at least one target virtual object is controlled to move in the virtual scene in response to a shooting operation on the at least one target virtual object. A target virtual resource is displayed in the virtual scene in response to a location of the at least one target virtual object meeting a first target condition.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR A CONTROL INTERFACE IN A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT

An aspect of the disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for a control interface in a virtual environment. For example, the method includes providing a graphical user interface (GUI) with a virtual environment picture of the virtual environment. The GUI includes a first graphical element and a second graphical element. The first graphical element is associated with a first control for a first virtual object and the second graphical element is associated with a second control for the first virtual object. The method further includes receiving a merge setting operation for the first graphical element and the second graphical element, and merging the first control and the second control into a third graphical element in response to the merge setting operation.

MIXED-REALITY DEVICE POSITIONING BASED ON SHARED LOCATION

Techniques and systems are provided for positioning mixed-reality devices within mixed-reality environments. The devices, which are configured to perform inside out tracking, transition between position tracking states in mixed-reality environments and utilize positional information from other inside out tracking devices that share the mixed-reality environments to identify/update positioning of the devices when they become disoriented within the environments and without requiring an extensive or full scan and comparison/matching of feature points that are detectable by the devices with mapped feature points of the maps associated with the mixed-reality environments. Such techniques can conserve processing and power consumption that would be required when performing a full or extensive scan and comparison of matching feature points. Such techniques can also enhance the accuracy and speed of positioning mixed-reality devices.

An information processing method and apparatus in a Virtual Reality (VR) game, and a processor are provided. The method includes that: a first move operation of a VR controller in a real environment is acquired; a move of a virtual object in a VR game scene is controlled according to the first move operation, and a calculation factor is calculated according to the first move operation; and when the move of the virtual object in the VR game scene satisfies a preset attack damage trigger condition, damage to an attack target in the VR game scene is calculated according to the calculation factor. The present disclosure solves technical problems in the related art that an operation mode of swinging a weapon to launch an attack in a VR game scene is easy to cause fatigue of a game player and a calculation mode of damage lacks accuracy.

Haptic device that allows blind users to interact in real-time in virtual worlds

In some embodiments, a haptic device comprises first and second multi-dimensional spatial haptic devices. The first spatial haptic device includes a handle to represent a location of one object in a virtual document or space. The second spatial haptic device includes a handle to represent a location of another object in the same virtual document or space. The first and the second handles are spatially registered with respect to each other. In some embodiments, a third spatial haptic device includes a handle to represent a location of yet another object in a virtual document or space.
