Anti-corrosive wrapping for metal pipes and metal pipe fittings
The present disclosure provides an anti-corrosive wrapping for a metal pipe (10) (or a metal pipe fitting). The wrapping has an innerwrap (14) including glass fibres which carries a viscoelastic thermoplastic corrosion protection material (13). The wrapping has an outerwrap (16) including glass fibres which is impregnated with an adhesive. The innerwrap (14) is wrappable around the metal pipe (10) with the viscoelastic thermoplastic corrosion protection material (13) carried by the innerwrap (14) engaging and covering an external surface of the metal pipe (10). The outerwrap (16) is wrapped around the innerwrap (13) and the adhesive impregnated in the outerwrap (16) penetrates the innerwrap (13) and thereby adheres the outerwrap (16) to the innerwrap (13).

FIBER COMPOSITE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PIPE REINFORCEMENT
A reinforced pipe and a method of preparing the reinforced pipe are provided. The reinforced pipe has repair area where a circumferential defect is present in a center section of the repair area. The reinforced pipe comprises a unidirectional fabric circumferentially wrapped around the repair area of the pipe so as to result in multiple layers of the unidirectional fabric around the repair area. The unidirectional fabric is composed of high-performance fibers with at least 90% of the high-performance fibers oriented in the 90 direction, and the unidirectional fabric is wrapped such that the high-performance fibers run in the axial direction. The reinforced pipe further comprises a bidirectional fabric wrapped of over the unidirectional fabric such the at least one layer of bidirectional fabric is wrapped over the unidirectional fabric.
FILAMENT REINFORCED TAPES USEFUL AS UNDERWATER PIPE WRAP
A member for use in undersea applications comprising a plurality of conduits assembled into a bundle; the bundle being wrapped with a pressure-sensitive tape comprising a backing, a layer of corrosion-resistant yarns on one surface of the backing, and pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that coats the corrosion-resistant yarns and binds them to the backing.
PERFORATED POLYMERIC SHEET WITH UNDERLYING SPACERS
A new protective polymeric sheet is described wherein said polymeric sheet includes perforations and attached spacers that allow air and water circulation when the sheet is in use. The sheet protects underlying structures from damage while ensuring moisture migration between the protective polymeric sheet and the underlying structure. The protective polymeric sheet comprises a plurality of perforations extending through the sheet and a plurality of spacers, each spacer extending from a lower surface of the sheet adjacent to one side of each perforation. The spacers are created during perforation of the polymeric sheet. The protective polymeric sheet is useful in a number of applications, including without limitation: to protect pipelines; to replace geotextiles in heap leach processes; to line sandboxes and paving stones; to cover greenhouse floors; to make industrial or residential gutter caps; and as a filter.
High pressure pipe and method for producing such pipe
A high-pressure pipe comprises an inner liner (1), an outer coating layer (6) and a reinforcement layer (2, 5) positioned between the inner liner and the outer coating layer. The reinforcement layer has helically wound strips (2, 5) which each comprise a matrix (4) and fibers (3) embedded in the matrix; the fibers consist of a multitude of twisted high-strength filaments. With an aim of providing a relatively high bending flexibility, the filaments of a fiber are sized filaments obtained by subjecting the filaments to a sizing operation.

Repairing or coating subsea pipelines
A wrap tape cassette for a subsea pipeline repair or coating machine includes a drum for carrying a wrap tape wound on the drum. A housing defines an exit opening for the wrap tape to be dispensed from the drum onto a pipeline during a repair or coating operation. The drum may be mounted to the housing for rotational and longitudinal movement relative to the housing to dispense the wrap tape through the exit opening on being unwound from the drum. A leading end of the wrap tape may be attached to an anchor element that is arranged as a closure for the exit opening and, when moved from the exit opening, for attachment to a pipeline being repaired or coated.
