LIGHT EMISSION CONTROL APPARATUS, OPERATION DEVICE, LIGHT EMISSION CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A light emission control apparatus, an operation device, a light emission control method, and a program are provided that enable richer expression of an execution status of a program based on light emission from the operation device. A particular-light-emitting-area identifying section identifies, on the basis of information corresponding to an execution status of a program, a particular light emitting area that is a part of a light emitting area set on an operation device, the part corresponding to the information. A light emission control section causes at least part of the light emitting area to enable a particular light emitting area to be recognized.

Multi-functional notebook
A multi-functional notebook includes a first body, a processing unit, a second body, and two joysticks. The first body has two accommodating spaces and a first wireless module. The processing unit is disposed in the first body and coupled to the first wireless module, and serves as a control core. The second body is connected to the first body and has a display unit coupled to the processing unit. The two joysticks are detachably disposed in the two accommodating spaces respectively and are coupled to the processing unit. Each of the joysticks has a second wireless module, and the two second wireless modules are coupled to the first wireless module for signal transmission. The processing unit is adapted to detect a connection state between each of the joysticks and the first body to switch to a corresponding operation mode.
AUGMENTED REALITY TOY
A toy, for use with a viewing device, may include a plurality of component parts at least two of which include at least one augmented reality marker of a plurality of augmented reality markers enabling digital content associated with the at least one augmented reality marker to be unlocked and influencing at least one of an appearance and function of the toy on the viewing device. The plurality of augmented reality markers, each of which may be a physically independent augmented reality image marker, may be combined and converted into a composite augmented reality marker to produce a single, unique physical item and a composite digital representation.

Enhanced split-screen display via augmented reality
A method includes syncing augmented reality (AR) enabled equipment to a videogaming system, identifying two or more portions of a display screen belonging to two or more players, identifying a portion of the display screen belonging to a selected user and one or more remaining portions of the display screen not belonging to the selected user, obscuring the one or more portions of the display screen not belonging to the selected user, and displaying the determined portion of the display screen belonging to the selected user via the synced AR enabled equipment. A computer program product and computer system corresponding to the method are also disclosed.
Storage medium storing game program, game apparatus, game system, and game processing method
An example information processing device chooses a subset of game objects as candidate game objects from among available game objects; selects a candidate game object as a selected game object according to the user's instruction; updating, when an update condition is satisfied, possession data in the memory so that the selected game object is set as a possessed game object possessed by the user; on a condition that the remaining time has been expired, replacing the candidate game object on the selection screen with a game object newly chosen from among the available game objects; and on at least one of a first condition that the candidate game object has been selected as a selected game object and a second condition that the update condition is satisfied, replacing the selected game object with a game object newly chosen from among the available game objects.

Methods, systems, and devices for dynamically applying equalizer profiles
A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, an embodiment for detecting a map associated with a gaming session for a video game executing on a computing device associated with a first user, and obtaining a map equalizer profile associated with the map for the video game. Further embodiments can include determining a first avatar, associated with the first user, is located within a first environment of the map for the video game, and obtaining a first environment equalizer profile associated with the first environment. Additional embodiments can include providing first instructions to the computing device associated with the first user according to the map equalizer profile and the first environment equalizer profile. The first instructions indicate to the computing device to adjust audio output of the video game according to the map equalizer profile and the first environment equalizer profile. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
SCALABLE INTERACTIVE VIDEO SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Present embodiments are directed to a distributed control system of an interactive video system. The distributed control system includes a switched fabric network, which includes an input node implemented to collect scanning data for a participant. The switched fabric network also includes a set of processing nodes implemented to generate a virtual representation for the participant based at least in part on the scanning data for the participant. Further, the switched fabric network includes an output node, which includes an output device implemented to present the virtual representation of the participant in a virtual environment.
