Silica aerogel blanket for ultra-high temperature, method for producing same, and method for constructing same
The present invention relates to a silica aerogel blanket for ultra-high temperature, a method for producing the same, and a method for constructing the same. More specifically, the present invention provides a method for producing a silica aerogel blanket, the method capable of suppressing the generation of a bad odor during construction by including a step of heat treatment after producing a hydrophobic silica aerogel blanket so as to remove a volatile organic compound (VOC), a silica aerogel blanket produced thereby, and a method for constructing a silica aerogel blanket for ultra-high temperature, the method capable of suppressing the generation of a bad odor during the construction of the silica aerogel blanket produced by the above-mentioned production method on an ultra-high temperature piping equipment, and at the same time, preventing the loss of heat insulation performance due to moisture in the air.
Motorcycle exhaust pipe heat pad
A motorcycle exhaust pipe heat pad including a shield assembly, and a fastening assembly is disclosed herein. Fastening assembly include a plurality of fasteners. Shield assembly includes shield made of an insulating heat material such as silicone to protect user from heat of motorcycle exhaust pipes. Shield has a cylindrical mounting shape. Shield has decorative ridges on an outer surface. Shield has predetermined diameters to couple to different exhaust pipes. Plurality of fasteners are disposed on the shield assembly and allow to secure the shield to a motorcycle double exhaust pipe, to a motorcycle single exhaust pipe or to a motorcycle curved exhaust pipe.
Composite insulation system
Embodiments of the present invention provide a self-molding composite system for insulation and covering operations. The self-molding composite system may be cured to form any desired shaped for insulation and covering operations. The composite system comprises one or more layers that may create a rigid layered composite when cured. The one or more layers of the composite system may include at least one structural reinforcement layer that is a braided, knit, or non-woven fiber based substrate, an interstitial matrix layer, and customizable top coat. The customizable top coat may be a solvent based polymer solution that includes various additives that may include color pigments, additives for additional abrasion protection, additives for thermal protection, and/or additives for creating various textures or visible appearances to the composite system.
Elongated pre-insulated pipe assembly and a local heat distribution system
An elongated pre-insulated pipe assembly for fluid transfer, the pipe assembly having a longitudinal center axis (x) and comprising: a center insulator profile made of thermally insulating foamed plastics, the center insulator profile having a circular cross-section and being concentric in relation to the center axis (x), the center insulator profile comprising at least two longitudinally extending channels formed inside an periphery of the center insulator profile and each channel being adapted to receive one flow pipe, at least two flow pipes made of plastics, each one of the flow pipes being inserted inside the channel of the center insulator profile, at least one insulation layer made of thermally insulating foamed plastics arranged to enclose the center insulator profile, and an outer jacket made of plastics to enclose the at least one insulation layer. At least one channel of the center insulator profile and the flow pipe inserted in said channel are disposed inside the center insulator profile at a distance from the outer periphery of the center insulator profile and closer to the center axis (x) than other channels and the flow pipe arranged in said other channel.
LAMINAR JACKETS FOR FLEXIBLE DUCTS OF HVAC SYSTEMS
A laminar jacket for a flexible duct of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a first film defining an outer surface of the laminar jacket and a second film defining an inner surface of the laminar jacket. The laminar jacket includes a scrim retained between the first film and the second film. Additionally, the laminar jacket includes a longitudinally-extending seam between the first film and the second film that retains the laminar jacket in a tubular shape. The inner surface of the laminar jacket defines a hollow that is configured to receive insulation and that does not have the insulation disposed therein.
Insulating inserts for field joints of coated rigid pipelines
An insulating insert is positioned around a field joint of a pipeline to insulate the field joint. The insert includes a longitudinal series of annular or part-annular filler segments of insulating material, curved about a longitudinal axis, that are each joined to one or more adjacent segments of the series by at least one link. The links may be webs, rods or articulated links. The links are flexible relative to the segments to facilitate bending of the insert along its length by enabling relative angular displacement between adjacent segments of the series.
Near vacuum composite material can be quickly wrapped up on surface of pipes by zipping it up and used for various sandwiched layers to reduce the noise and preserve heat
Currently wood frame dwellings in North American and the steel structures of the building constructions worldwide, in which the row of toilet water pipes are routed within the fire wall, when the toilet flushes, the water enters into the drainage pipeline. The original static air generates a huge sound wave, and the laminated mezzanine formed by the fireproof gypsum board outside the wood structure wall will increase the noise due to resonance, and the quality of life in the living space will be greatly disturbed. Therefore, some kind of sound insulation is required. Sound proof composite materials prevent noise, while the space walls and interior walls of high and low-latitude structures are heat-retaining and energy-saving. In addition, air-conditioning and hot water pipelines in buildings need to be insulated and cold-resistant to provide good insulation, using flame-retardant materials. In particular the plumbers need to do the installation of insulation construction fast and alone. In addition, due to the global ban on single-use plastic cups and paper cups with plastic coated inner layer the double-layered cold-insulated, heat-preserving aluminum foil cups, capable of keeping cold/warm and meeting environmental recycling requirements, are very much needed by the market.
INSULATED TUBULAR EXHAUST APPARATUS AND METHODS
A bent tube with a sleeve of insulation and a protective outer metallic layer and related methods of manufacturing.
Rigid foam insulation having a tongue-and-groove coupling
An insulating member comprises a body of rigid foam material having a first connecting edge surface and a second connecting edge surface, a groove formed into the rigid foam material of the body along the first connecting edge surface, and a tongue formed from the rigid foam material of the body along the second connecting edge surface. The groove, when viewed in a transverse cross-section, tapers from narrow to wide in a direction extending from its opening and into the body. The tongue, when viewed in a transverse cross-section, tapers from wide to narrow in a direction toward the second connecting edge surface. The tongue is bifurcated along its length into first and second ridges by a wedge-shaped void. A polymer coating of polyurea or polyurethane substantially covers the tongue and structurally reinforces the tongue allowing the first and second ridges to flex toward one another without breaking.
