Coated Conduits and Methods of Repairing or Reinforcing Conduits
The present invention is directed to a coated conduit comprising: a) a conduit having an interior and exterior surface; and b) a cured coating formed from a reaction mixture that is applied to at least one surface of the conduit. The reaction mixture comprises: i) a filler material comprising fibers ranging in length from 0.1 to 15.54 cm and having an aspect ratio of at least 5; and ii) a reactive component that demonstrates a tack-free time of less than five minutes at a temperature of 20 to 25 C. The present invention is also directed to a method of repairing or reinforcing a conduit, comprising: (a) applying a curable coating composition to at least one surface of the conduit, wherein the curable coating composition is formed from the reaction mixture described above; and (b) allowing the curable coating composition to at least partially cure by exposing the composition to ambient conditions.

INSULATED PIPE
The present invention provides an insulated pipe comprising one or more inner pipes comprising a plastic, a flexible vacuum insulation panel in the form of units joined to each other wrapped around at least one of the one or more inner pipes, one or more insulation layers, and an outer jacket. The present invention further provides a method and an apparatus for producing the insulated pipe.
Method of installing a heat tube on pre-insulated piping
A method is shown for installing a heat tube on a section of pre-insulated piping. A metal carrier pipe is covered with a first layer of foam insulation. Next, a routing device is used to cut a longitudinal slot along the length of the pipe so that the pipe exterior surface is exposed from the insulation. A heat tube is then installed within the longitudinal slot, whereby the heat tube contacts the exterior surface of the metal carrier pipe. A second layer of foam insulation is then sprayed onto the exterior of the metal carrier pipe, covering the previously formed longitudinal slot and installed heat tube. A polyolefin coating is then applied over the insulation to form a protective outer jacket for the insulated pipe.
Method of installing a heat tube on pre-insulated piping
A method is shown for installing a heat tube on a section of pre-insulated piping. A metal carrier pipe is covered with a first layer of foam insulation. Next, a wire brush is used to cut a longitudinal slot along the length of the pipe so that the pipe exterior surface is exposed from the insulation. REINFORCED FOAM BLOCK FOR SUPPORTING A PIPELINE
A device for supporting a length of pipe adapted to carry oil or gas in a subterranean environment comprises a body of rigid synthetic polymeric foam material defining an upper face of the foam body arranged to substantially receive a weight of the length of pipe and a lower face arranged for contacting a ground surface. A planar sheet of reinforcing material which is substantially incompressible in a thickness direction thereof is connected to the foam body at or adjacent the upper face thereof in transverse orientation relative to a thickness direction of the foam body between the upper and lower faces thereof so that the reinforcing sheet is oriented substantially perpendicularly to the weight of the length of pipe exerted on the foam body.
