Mount for redundant flat-screen monitors used in medical imaging applications
A mount is described herein for supporting first and second flat-screen monitors. The mount includes a mounting member with first and second opposing sides, wherein the first and second sides includes first and second power connectors and first and second video connectors for mating with corresponding first and second power connectors and corresponding first and second video connectors of the first and second flat-screen monitors, respectively. The mount further includes first and second power buses for supplying power to the first and second flat-screen monitors via the first and second power connectors. Additionally, the mount includes a video bus for supplying a video signal to the first and second flat-screen monitors via the first and second video connectors. The mount also includes a supporting member mechanically coupled to or integral with the mounting member for supporting the mount on a fixed structure.
OVERHEAD SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR INTELLIGENT LOCOMOTION FOR OBJECTS AND EQUIPMENT ALONG TWO OR MORE AXES OF MOVEMENT
A support structure provides two or more axes of intelligent locomotion for a movable object on the support structure. The support structure can include a track system made up of a plurality of identically configured track modules that are connected end-to-end. Each track module can include an elongated body defining a longitudinal axis and having two ends. Each end can include at least one beveled edge and at least one track surface extending longitudinally along the elongated body. The track modules can be connected to a power source and include electrical contacts that provide electricity to movable objects that travel along the track system.
SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING CAMERA EQUIPMENT
A modular bridging system comprises a channel configured to receive a portion of an elongate rail, the channel being configured to receive the elongate rail substantially perpendicularly to a longitudinal axis of the modular bridging system; a rail fastener securing the received rail within the channel; a leg receiver configured to receive an elongate leg section; and a leg fastener securing the received leg section such that the received leg section and the elongate rail are configurable to be temporarily affixed in place in relation to each other, wherein a securing point of the fastener is adjustable along a plurality of points along each leg section.
DISPLAY SYSTEM AND DISPLAY DEVICE BASE
The present disclosure provides a display system and a display device base for mounting a display device. The display device base includes a first horizontal displacement mechanism capable of being displaced along a first horizontal direction; a second horizontal displacement mechanism mounted on the first horizontal displacement mechanism and capable of being displaced along a second horizontal direction perpendicular to the first horizontal direction; and a rotation mechanism rotatably mounted on the second horizontal displacement mechanism and configured to mount the display device.
Saddle lift for individuals with special needs and others
A lift system includes a block and tackle pulley system movable along a track and carrying first and second hooks at a common attachment axis. The first hook is attached at a front end of the saddle while the second hook is attached to the back end of the saddle. Once the saddle is lowered onto the horse the inward tension of the hooks caused by the weight of the saddle is released allowing the hooks to be removed from the saddle without human intervention. The lift system accommodates a range of saddle sizes and weights.
STEERING WITH SHIFTING SYSTEM FOR A CAMERA DOLLY PARTICULARLY FOR FILM SHOOTING
A steering with shifting system for a camera dolly, including a steering column that can be connected to steering wheels of a camera dolly by first motion transmission means, the steering column being configured to rotate around its central axis in a plurality of positions from a central position to rotate the steering wheels by the first motion transmission means; a handlebar integrally connected to the steering column and configured to be moved to rotate the steering column in a respective position of the plurality of positions; a support body configured to contain the first motion transmission means, the support body including a bell-shaped sleeve coaxial to the steering column, the steering column being at least partly inserted in the bell-shaped sleeve and pivotable with respect to the bell-shaped sleeve; and a central position indication element configured to engage when the steering column is in the central position.
Camera skater dolly, rail and clamp system
A track system on which a skater dolly can roll, comprising one or more pairs of rails and one or more rail clamps. Each rail clamp supports one or two pairs of rails. Rails held side-by-side are parallel to each other. Rail clamps can also secure two rails in end-to-end configuration. The distance between rails can be about 5/16 of an inch. The track system can include a skater dolly, the load-bearing wheels of which are angled 20-30 degrees away from vertical to provide clearance past the rail clamps. The skater also has stabilizing wheels that are approximately perpendicular to the load-bearing wheels, and which secure the skater to the rails when the skater is in a non-upright e.g. upside-down orientation. The system can include a motor pulley system that moves the skater along the rails.
User interface with automatic movement to driver window
A drive through window has a user interface allowing one to place an order using a touch screen, voice commands, or combination thereof. The user interface can have a display screen and can accept payment via a magnetic strip reader, wireless transmission of data, or other payment mechanisms used. When a vehicle approaches a drive through, the vehicle is instructed to stop (based on signage, a gate, or other indicator) and cameras (are used to) determine the location of a driver of the vehicle and/or window associated with the driver. Once the location is determined, the user interface is put into position by moving a support structure for the interface along a horizontal axis, vertical axis, and finally along a depth axis until the interface is within reach of the driver and in some embodiments, passes through a window and into a cabin of the vehicle.
SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING, ACCESSING, MOVING AND FOLDING AWAY ARTICLES ON, UNDER OR ALONG A SURFACE
It is the objective of the present invention to create additional functional, flexible and accessible work and storage area in the home, office, workshop, automobile, medical and industrial environments by providing means to firmly and securely mount, store and access articles such as appliances (e.g., flat panel video displays/monitors, can openers, weighing scales) and organizing/storage vessels (e.g., spice racks, first aid kits, sewing boxes, knife blocks, tool kits) on downwardly facing surfaces, such as the underside of cabinets and shelves, and on vertical surfaces (such as cabinet doors and frames) and by enhancing access to those articles on horizontal surfaces such as countertops. The invention performs its functions using a small number of readily manufacturable, modular, standardized components. The invention also performs its functions maximizing adjustability, reliability, use of available space and ease and flexibility of installation.
RAIL SYSTEM FOR WORKSPACE WITH MODULAR COMPONENTS
A rail system for a workspace. The system may include at least one mounting mechanism and an elongated rail. Each mounting mechanism is configured for attachment to the rail and configured for attachment to an edge of, or a surface of, a table or desk, so that the mounting mechanism(s) support the rail relative to said surface. The elongated rail is configured to extend horizontally relative to and above the surface of the table or desk. The elongated rail has at least a front surface, a bottom surface/edge, and a back surface, as well as mounting slots. In some instances, a channel (or trough) is defined between the front and back surfaces, which extends between first and second ends of the elongated rail. The rail accommodates placement of electrical cords to/from a power source, for mounting components (e.g., clamps, brackets, release mechanisms) and/or for connecting accessories thereto.
