Disclosed is an apparatus for suspending an object from an anchor point positioned, in use, above it, comprising: an elongate rod (200) having at least one waisted portion (220); a rod-engaging member (400); and a lock member (300), wherein the rod-engaging member (400) comprises: a substantially cylindrical main body (410) having a longitudinal slot (460) running along its entire length; a circumferential ridge (420) disposed around the cylindrical main body (410), arranged to engage with a complementary recess (130) provided in the object to be suspended; and a portion (430) comprising at least one elongate element having an inwardly facing projection (470), arranged to engage with the waisted portion (220) of the elongate rod (200).

Suspension arm

An apparatus comprising an arm with a depending hollow attachment housing, into which is inserted a corresponding attachment portion of a depending device. The housing and attachment portion both have corresponding openings which come into alignment when the attachment portion is inserted into the housing. The apparatus comprises a securing segment which passes through the aligned openings in the housing and attachment portion to prevent the vertical separation of the housing and attachment portion, and a sleeve which surrounds the housing and is vertically moveable between a first position wherein it exposes the openings and securing segment and a second position wherein it covers the securing segment thereby preventing the securing segment from becoming dislodged. The housing comprises a removable delimiter which reduces the allowable vertical movement of the sleeve so that its vertical movement is restricted so as to prevent the sleeve adopting its first position.

SUPPORT JOINT FOR A CARRIER ARM OF A MEDICAL STAND DEVICE

A carrier arm joint device for a carrier arm of a stand device for arranging in the operating room and for displacing a medical device held on the carrier arm is configured for setting a payload corresponding to a weight of the medical device to be taken up by the carrier arm. The device includes at least one pivot axis for mounting at least one strut of the carrier arm, respectively; and a support axis for supporting a lever configured to transmit forces holding the carrier arm between the strut and the carrier arm joint device A distance between the axes is adjustable within an adjustment range in order to set the payload; the size and/or the extent of the adjustment range is independent of the position of the pivot axis. It is possible to maximize the adjustment range and therefore the payload spectrum in a comparatively compact and structurally rigid joint. A carrier system and a stand device can include at least one such carrier arm joint device.

An anchor assembly (10) comprises an anchor (12) comprising a body (15) defining a cavity (16). The anchor (12) further comprises a reinforcing member (18) extending through the cavity (16) and outwardly from the body (15). The anchor assembly (10) further includes an insertion device (14) insertable into the cavity (16). The insertion device (14) comprises a securing member (49) movable between securing and non-securing positions. When the movable securing member (49) is in the securing position in the cavity (16), the securing member (49) can engage the reinforcing member (18) to secure the insertion device (14) to the anchor (12).

Suspended storage shelf assembly

A storage shelf assembly includes a platform and a platform support frame including a first side member defining a first channel, a second side member defining a second channel opposite the first side member, and a plurality of cross members extending between the first and second side members and received within the first and second channels. A first upright is coupled to the platform support frame and a first structure and is configured to suspend the platform support frame from the first structure. The first upright is coupled to the first side member of the platform support frame via a first attachment assembly. The first attachment assembly includes a support bracket coupled to the first upright and configured to cradle the first side member, and a clamp feature coupled to the support bracket and configured to extend over the first side member.

Device for deploying and retracting liquid crystal display (LCD) and control method thereof

The servomechanism comprises a gear motor, a one-way bearing dynamically connected to the gear motor, an electromagnetic clutch, a speed reducer, and a plane four-bar linkage mechanism which drives the LCD on the shafts to rotate. The electromagnetic clutch is also connected to a spring motor which dynamically connects to the speed reducer. In the deploying and retracing direction of the LCD, a stowed position transducer and a retracted position transducer are disposed to monitor the LCD position changes and an angle sensor to monitor the LCD deploying speed changes. The stowed position transducer, retracted position transducer, and angle sensor are electrically connected to a controller. The controller collects and processes signals generated by the stowed position transducer, retracted position transducer, and angle sensor and controls LCD retracting in the event of power outage or unexpected exceptions.

Ceiling fan and hanging head connecting mechanism thereof

A hanging head connecting mechanism of a ceiling fan has a connecting seat, a hanging rod, and a motor shaft. The connecting seat has a connecting plate, a first bushing, a second bushing, and multiple connecting pieces. The second bushing is located around the first bushing. The hanging rod is mounted in the connecting seat and disposed between the first bushing and the second bushing. The motor shaft is mounted in the connecting seat and disposed inside the first bushing. The connecting pieces are serially mounted through the second bushing, the hanging rod, and the motor shaft. Two of the connecting pieces are each mounted on a respective one of two opposite sides of the second bushing, and a wire-routing gap is formed between the first connecting piece and the second connecting piece.

AUDIOVISUAL DEVICE SUPPORT AND HANGING PLATE ASSEMBLY THEREOF

The present invention discloses an audiovisual device support and a hanging plate assembly thereof. In the present invention, a fit state between a first hanging plate and a second hanging plate which are arranged detachably relative to each other is adjusted to adjust a fixing height of an audiovisual device relative to a support surface so as to meet diverse use requirements, and the first hanging plate and the second hanging plate are locked relative to each other by a second fixture after being adjusted to a desired height, so that the audiovisual device and the support or the hanging plate assembly are formed as a firmly connected whole.
