GAME MAT, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
There is provided a game mat, an information processing apparatus, and an information processing method that can manage information regarding a game played using cards, in association with a mat ID of a mat serving as a storage space of the cards. A game mat according to an aspect of the present technology is a mat including: a mobile terminal antenna that receives a radio wave output by a reader/writer of a mobile terminal that communicates with a server that manages a game using an IC card; an IC card antenna that communicates with the IC card including an IC chip for an IC card in which reading/writing of data is performed contactlessly by a command transmitted from the reader/writer; a memory that stores a mat ID, which is identification information of a mat; and an internal IC chip that receives a command transmitted from the reader/writer and stores, into the memory in association with the mat ID, information regarding the game transmitted from the server. The present technology can be applied to a play mat of a card game using a smartphone having an NFC function and an IC card.

Patch and bulk operations for a legacy game
A method for emulating a disc swap operation during a play of a legacy game is described. The method includes receiving a user input during the play of the legacy game, determining that the disc swap operation is to be executed based on the user input, and identifying one or more emulated processing unit (PU) code instructions that are included within the disc swap operation during the play of the legacy game. The method further includes compiling, during the play of the legacy game, one or more basic blocks from the one or more emulated PU code instructions, and emulating the disc swap operation. The operation of emulating the disc swap operation includes executing a swap patch emulator.
Methods, systems, and devices of providing multi-perspective portions of recorded game content in response to a trigger
A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device that has a memory to store instructions and a processor coupled to the memory, wherein responsive to executing the instructions, the processor performs operations that include defining a group of perspectives around an avatar controlled by a player of a video game, detecting a current trigger during the video game, recording a trigger clip of game content for each perspective in the group of perspectives resulting in a group of trigger clips, wherein each trigger clip of the group of trigger clips is a portion of game content that includes the current trigger from each perspective of the group of perspectives, and providing the group of trigger clips over a communication network to a gaming device utilized by the player. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
DISPENSING MECHANISM AND GAME DEVICE
This dispensing mechanism of the present invention is configured to dispense objects with a game. The mechanism includes: an accommodating part for accommodating the objects; a dispensing-candidate holding part for holding the objects as dispensing candidates; a pushing mechanism for pushing each of the objects accommodated in the accommodating part to the dispensing-candidate holding part; and a control part for controlling operation of the pushing mechanism

System, method, and smart device for authentication of products and interaction with a virtual environment
A system and method for identifying and authenticating a physical article to a virtual environment. A physical article, such as a decorative pin used in gameplay or some purchased article with anti-counterfeiting tag information, may be scanned by a mobile device and verified by a mobile device application. Such a process may uniquely identify a product as being associated with one particular customer, which may limit counterfeiting and may also allow the article to be incorporated in some form into a game or other virtual environment, such as in the form of an accessory for a game character.
SERVER DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD FOR SERVER DEVICE, GAME SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
A server device and the like that can make a whole game and SNS more active by promoting the movement of players between groups to enhance the mobility of game participants. A server device comprises: a controller configured to enable a first player belonging to a first group to transfer to a second group based on an operation by a second player belonging to the second group, wherein the controller is configured to associate compensation for the transfer with the transfer of the first player. The controller is configured to perform payment and receipt of compensation for the transfer between at least two out of the first player, the first group, and the second group when the first player transfers from the first group to the second group.
