OPERATOR PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC SAW
A safety apparatus for protecting an operator of an electrically powered saw from the blade during operation, the saw being of the type including a cutting table through which the blade passes, comprising: an image processing arrangement operable to sense, within a predefined three-dimensional sensing zone, the presence of a glove worn by the operator which has a colour distinguishable by the image sensor from the colour of an object being cut by the blade, the three-dimensional sensing zone being located in a cutting path of the blade; and an electronic controller communicable with the image sensor and operable to control an arresting mechanism to arrest movement of the blade responsive to the coloured glove being detected within the three-dimensional sensing zone.

Safety systems for power equipment
Machines with safety systems are disclosed. The machine may take the form of woodworking machines including table saws, band saws, miter saws, hand-held circular saws, pneumatic chop saws, radial-arm saws, jointers, planars, routers and shapers. The machines may include an operative structure configured to perform a task, where the operative structure includes a cutting tool adapted to move in at least one motion, and a safety system adapted to detect the occurrence of an unsafe condition between a person and the cutting tool and for mitigating the unsafe condition. The safety system may include a detection subsystem and a reaction subsystem.
Protection circuit for machine tool control center
A protection circuit is coupled to a switch circuit of a machine tool for protection. The protection circuit comprises a fatigue protection unit and a misoperation protection unit. The fatigue protection unit comprises a first sensor, a first processor, a first controller, and an alarm module. The misoperation protection unit comprises a second sensor, a second processor, and a second controller. The protection circuit senses the degree of fatigue and the misoperation of people through the fatigue protection unit and the misoperation protection unit, then controls the machine tool to work or not to work to avoid accidents.

Hazardous energy control system
A hazardous energy control system has a web-based application adapted to be associated with a personal electronic device. The application has a worksite manager that is created from project documents that are uploaded to the application and selectively displays locations for equipment and hazardous energy barriers.
SMART WRISTBAND SAFETY WARNING SYSTEM
A pedestrian and worker safety system, comprising: a) at least one smart wristband unit; and b) one or more machines, vehicles and/or trains, each comprising i) a communication unit comprising a wireless transceiver capable of transmitting and/or receiving at least one warning information to/from at least one smart wristband unit; and ii) a warning display unit, wherein warning information is transmitted via wireless communication between one or more machines, vehicles and/or trains and at least one smart wristband unit.
Monitoring device for monitoring a boundary section of a safety zone
A monitoring device for monitoring a boundary section of a safety zone for detecting an object at least partially entering or leaving the safety zone through the boundary section is provided. The monitoring device comprises: a light curtain device for detecting an object touching the boundary section; at least one radar device for detecting a movement direction of the object relative to the boundary section and/or a material property of the object; and an evaluation device for emitting an evaluation result based on a radar device signal from the radar device and optionally based on a light curtain device signal from the light curtain device.
Fenceless industrial robot system
The present invention relates to an industrial robot system comprising a platform adapted to be positioned on a floor in a robot cell, an industrial robot positioned on the platform and including an articulated robot arm, a sensor system comprising two sensors, wherein each of the sensors is configured to detect motions within an angle of at least 90° in a horizontal plane, two arms attached to the platform and arranged to move the sensors in relation to the platform independent of the articulated robot arm between an extended position located a distance of a least 0.5 m from the platform and a retracted position. The sensors are arranged to detect motions of an object within at least one safety zone defined in relation to the sensors when the sensors are located in the extended position, and the robot system comprises a safety control unit configured to adjust the speed of the robot if a moving object is detected in the at least one safety zone.
