GROUND LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS STORAGE TANK AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present invention includes: an independent tank constituting an inner tank to store a storage material therein; at least one sandwich plate modularized and manufactured include a metal plate provided in a pair opposite to each other, the metal plates having a reinforcing material formed therebetween, and a filler filled between the metal plates, the at least one sandwich plate surrounding the outer surface of the independent tank to constitute an outer tank; and an external reinforcing member formed on the outer surface of the sandwich plate.
Method for constructing cylindrical tank
There is provided a method for constructing a cylindrical tank, including the step of assembling a metal inner tank by individually and sequentially conducting, on an internal side of a PC wall, raising of an inner tank lateral plate by a jack-up unit and welding of a next-stage inner tank lateral plate onto a lower section of the raised inner tank lateral plate, further including the step of installing a guide pair configured to sandwich the raised inner tank lateral plate onto the next-stage inner tank lateral plate that is to be welded therebeneath. As a result, in the case of adopting the jack-up construction system, it is possible to prevent an inner tank lateral plate from being attached next from falling.
Blanket installation method and blanket unit
A blanket installation method includes: a transporting step of transporting a blanket unit (1), in which a blanket (2) and a transport jig (3) are integrally coupled, between an inner tank (60) and an outer tank (50) of a double shell structure tank in a suspended condition; and a mounting step of mounting the blanket unit (1) on a shell plate of the inner tank (60). The transport jig (3) is formed by attaching a blanket fixing pin (34) to a jig main body (3A) through pin coupling. The blanket (2) is held at the blanket fixing pin (34).
MULTIPLE-SHELL TANK AND HEAT INSULATION MATERIAL SUPPLY METHOD FOR MULTIPLE-SHELL TANK
A multiple-shell tank includes: an inner tank that stores a liquefied gas; an intermediate tank that covers the inner tank and forms a first heat insulating space between the intermediate tank and the inner tank; an outer tank that covers the intermediate tank and forms a second heat insulating space between the outer tank and the intermediate tank; and a communication part enabling an external space that is a space outside the multiple-shell tank and the first heat insulating space to communicate with each other.
CRYOGENIC THERMO-STRUCTURAL INSULATION SYSTEM
Disclosed is a cryogenic storage tank including an inner wall (50) and an outer wall (52) defining a space (56), wherein the space is filled at least in part with dried-in-place hollow glass microspheres which provides both insulating and structural properties to maintain the space, and methods for forming the cryogenic storage tank. Also disclosed is a cryogenic storage tank including an inner wall and an outer wall defining a space, wherein the inner wall and outer wall are spaced from one another by magnetic repulsion. In one embodiment the inner wall includes a high temperature superconducting material embedded in or on a surface of the inner wall, and the outer wall has a conventional magnet embedded in or on a surface of the outer wall.
