HEAD FOR A PRESSURIZED GAS TANK
A head for a pressurised gas tank comprises a structure having an opening, a head comprising a base disposed in the opening, and a valve assembled with the base. The base comprises a boss disposed outside the tank, at least one first channel comprising an axial part along the axis which is not open connected with the inside of the tank, and at least one radial part. The at least one radial part is pierced radially in the boss until the radial part joins the axial part. The valve has a substantially annular shape comprising a first bore corresponding to the boss in order to be able to be engaged on the boss, and at least one second channel, one end of which opens into the first bore axially in line with said at least one radial part. A tank comprising such a head is also provided.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PRESSURE CONTAINER AND PRESSURE CONTAINER
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a pressure vessel and to a corresponding pressure vessel. The invention proposes a manufacturing method for a pressure vessel where first a pressure vessel blank having at least one liner type 4 and a cylindrical pipe operatively connected to it is manufactured and subsequently, for instance, a fibre composite material is wrapped onto the pressure vessel blank.
Precast and prestressed concrete tank with temporary construction opening
A precast, prestressed concrete tank and method that facilitates construction of a primary inner tank within a secondary outer tank, and which permits for the construction of the primary inner tank after the secondary outer tank has been erected, but without requiring insertion through a top of the secondary outer tank, or by tunneling underneath the secondary outer tank, is disclosed. The primary inner tank has an inner wall and the secondary outer tank has an outer wall (precast, prestressed concrete) and wire windings. The primary inner tank is disposed inside of the secondary outer tank. The secondary outer tank has a plurality of first precast outer wall panels, and a temporary construction opening frame. The temporary construction opening frame defines an access doorway during construction of the tank. The temporary construction opening frame is disposed on a foundation base slab.
TANK DEVICE FOR STORING A GASEOUS MEDIUM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TANK DEVICE
The invention relates to a tank device (1) for storing a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, comprising at least one tank reservoir (3), wherein said at least one tank reservoir (3) comprises a tank housing (30) having a tank neck (2). Furthermore, a tank pressure bottom (8) is arranged in the tank neck (2), which tank pressure bottom (8) separates a tank neck space (7) and a tank interior (6) from one another, and wherein said tank neck (2) has an outer thread (10) as an abutment on an outer side (20).
TANK DEVICE FOR STORING A GASEOUS MEDIUM
The invention relates to a tank device (1) for storing a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, comprising at least one tank container (2), wherein said at least one tank container (2) has a tank housing (20) with a tank neck (3). In addition, a connection screw element (5) is arranged in the tank neck (3), wherein said connection screw element (5) is in contact with a conical sealing seat (10) formed on an inner face (8) of the tank housing (20), thereby sealing a tank neck interior (30) of the tank neck (3), and the connection screw element (5) can be pretensioned by means of a union nut element (6) attached to an outer face (9) of the tank housing (20).
Pressure container
A pressure container includes a liner filled with gas inside, a reinforcement layer that is formed in contact with the outer surface of the liner by using a fiber reinforced resin and covers the liner from the outside, and a cap attached to the liner. The cap is formed into an annular shape, and includes a plurality of cap bodies that have engagement portions projecting toward the reinforcement layer and are arranged with intervals in a circumferential direction, and bridge portions that connect, in the circumferential direction, the cap bodies adjacent in the circumferential direction. The cap is attached to the liner in a state in which the bridge portions are deformed and the engagement portions of the plurality of cap bodies are engaged with the reinforcement layer.
System and method for storing liquid and gaseous fuels
A system for storing fuel includes a support structure supporting at least one fuel tank a predetermined distance above ground. The fuel tank includes an inner tank configured to contain a gaseous fuel, an intermediate tank encompassing the inner tank and defining a first annular space therebetween, and an outer tank encompassing the intermediate tank an defining a second annular space therebetween. The first annular space is filled with a shock-absorbing resin for absorbing structural stresses, while the second annular space is filled with an insulating material providing for fire and ballistic resistance. The intermediate tank is connected to the support structure and to at least one adjacent fuel tank, and prevents the transfer of load to the inner tank.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COMPRESSED-GAS CONTAINER
The invention relates to a method for producing a compressed-gas container, particularly a compressed-gas container for transporting and for storing liquid gases or natural gas.
Composite pressure vessel assembly with an integrated nozzle assembly
A pressure vessel assembly includes a vessel including a wall defining a chamber and a circumferentially continuous lip projecting into the chamber from the wall. The lip defines a through-bore in fluid communication with the chamber. A nozzle assembly including a tube and a flange projecting radially outward from the tube. The tube includes a first portion projecting from the flange and through the through-bore and an opposite second portion projecting outward from the flange. The flange is in contact with the wall and the first portion includes an outer surface having a contour configured to produce sealing friction between the lip and the outer surface.
SELF-BRACING WATERTIGHT TANK WALL
The invention relates to a sealed tank wall used to form a sealed tank for storing a fluid, the wall comprising: a flat frame (3) including a perimeter (4) and longitudinal stiffening members (5) arranged inside the perimeter (4) in a longitudinal direction such that each longitudinal stiffening member extends from one side of the perimeter (4) to an opposite side of the perimeter (4), the perimeter (4) and the longitudinal stiffening members (5) being designed to form openings in the frame (3), lobed walls fastened to the frame (3) by welding about said openings to close said openings, such as to project into a thickness direction orthogonal to the frame (3) and towards the outside of the tank to be formed.
