COMPOSITE PRESSURE VESSEL ASSEMBLY WITH AN INTEGRATED NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
A pressure vessel assembly includes a vessel having a wall defining a chamber and a circumferentially continuous lip projecting into the chamber from the wall. The lip defines a through-bore that is in fluid communication with the chamber. A nozzle assembly of the pressure vessel assembly includes a tube projecting at least in-part into the through-bore, and an o-ring disposed between, and in sealing contact with, the tube and the lip.
Valve device
The problem of the present invention relates to providing a valve device that, even in a case where the valve device is miniaturized, is capable of preventing a gas discharge valve from malfunctioning in response to the heat generated by an electromagnetic actuator. A valve device 100 includes: an opening and closing valve 130 that is arranged in a gas flow passage 120; and a fusible plug valve 160 that is provided with a valve body 161 operating in response to an increase in temperature of a gas, and discharges the gas to the outside of a high-pressure gas container 20, wherein the valve body of the fusible plug valve is arranged on the upstream side in the gas flow passage than the opening and closing valve on a path through which the gas flows from the supply port 23 of the high-pressure gas container toward the fuel cell 10.
COMPOSITE PRESSURE VESSEL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
A composite pressure vessel assembly includes a first vessel having a first inner layer and a second vessel having a second inner layer. An outer layer of the assembly is in contact with and substantially envelopes the first and second inner layers. A junction of the assembly has outer boundaries defined by segments of the first inner layer, the second inner layer and the outer layer. A cross-layered component of the assembly is disposed in the junction, the first and second inner layers and the outer layer for adding strength to the junction and restricting delamination.
CURVE-COMBINED SQUARE PRESSURE TANK
The present invention relates to a curve-combined square pressure tank with which curves are combined so as to maintain internal high pressure, improve space efficiency, and reduce the weight thereof, and to a pressure tank, in which planes and curves are combined, formed by connecting flat plate members and curved members, having a plurality of aligned tension members for connecting the flat plate members facing each other, and having stress buffer parts formed at connection parts of the flat plate members and the curved members so as to enable internal pressure to be maintained.
MANUFACTURE OF A CONFORMABLE PRESSURE VESSEL
A method of manufacturing a high-pressure fluid vessel includes forming a first portion of a high-pressure fluid vessel with a molding process. The high-pressure fluid vessel includes a stack of capsules. Each capsule includes a first domed end, a second domed end, and a semicylindrical portion extending between and connecting the first domed end to the second domed end. The method further includes forming a second portion of a high-pressure fluid vessel with the molding process. The second portion of the high-pressure fluid vessel is positioned adjacent to the first portion of the high-pressure fluid vessel. The second portion of the high-pressure fluid vessel is welded to the first portion of the high-pressure fluid vessel.
Cryogenic tank comprising a withdrawal device
A cryotank that includes an inner tank for receiving a medium stored in the cryotank; an outer container enclosing the inner tank; an insulation space arranged between the inner tank and the outer container; a first heat exchanger arranged outside the inner tank and the outer container; an extraction device for the medium, the extraction device having at least one extraction line arranged in the insulation space to facilitate conveying of the medium out of the inner tank to the first heat exchanger; and a recirculation line back arranged in the insulation space in thermal contact with the at least one extraction line to facilitate conveying a recirculation partial flow back into the inner tank and an extraction partial flow downstream of the first heat exchanger to a consumer.
Pressure vessel fluid manifold assembly
A pressure vessel fluid manifold assembly includes a pressure vessel having a plurality of lobes joined to each other, each of the plurality of lobes having a wall disposed in contact with an adjacent wall of an adjacent lobe, and wherein the manifold can be external or internal to the lobes.
High conformal pressure vessel
A pressure vessel configured to store a pressurized fluid is provided including a plurality of lobes. Each lobe includes at least one vertically arranged interior wall. The plurality of lobes are positioned in a side by side configuration such that a first interior wall of a first lobe is positioned adjacent a second interior wall of a second adjacent lobe. The first interior wall and the second interior wall are configured to contact one another at a first point of tangency. A first tangent intersects the first lobe at the first point of tangency and a second tangent intersects the second lobe at the first point of tangency. The first tangent and the second tangent are separated by about 120 degrees.
HIGH PRESSURE CONTAINER
There is provided a high pressure container including (i) a plurality of container bodies, each of the container bodies housing a fluid in a high pressure state and being able to release the fluid through a release portion, (ii) an opening section that is linked to the container bodies, and that opens at or above a predetermined opening temperature to release the fluid inside the container bodies, and (iii) a cover member that straddles the plurality of container bodies, that covers at least a portion of the plurality of container bodies, that is able to withstand a temperature of no less than the opening temperature, that is linked to the opening section, and that is capable of transmitting heat to the opening section.
HIGH-PRESSURE VESSEL UNIT
A high-pressure vessel unit includes: plural cylindrical vessels arrayed inside a case, with end portions of the vessels on one side in the axial direction thereof being equipped with openings; a coupling member connected to the openings of the vessels to couple the plural vessels and includes a flow passage that communicates the insides of the vessels; a lead-out pipe that is leads out to the outside of the case from the coupling member through a through hole formed in the case; securing members that secure the coupling member to the case; and a retention mechanism that retains portions of the vessels on the axial direction other side of the end portions on the one side in the axial direction such that those portions of the vessels on the axial direction other side are movable in the axial direction relative to the case.
