The bottom portion includes an alloy with low thermal expansion coefficient. The primary sealing membrane is tightly fixed to the bottom portion of the line around the line.
HYBRID REFUELING STATION AND METHOD FOR REFUELING
Provided is a hybrid refueling station, including: a liquefied fuel unit, a gaseous fuel unit, a temperature management system and a dispensing unit. By combining the liquefied fuel unit with the gaseous fuel unit, boil-off fuel from the liquefied fuel unit is recovered into the gaseous fuel unit, which avoids boil-off loss of liquefied fuel. Provided also is a method for refueling in a hybrid refueling station. By using the gaseous fuel unit to perform a refueling operation during start-up of the liquefied fuel unit, the problem in the prior art of a delay during start-up when the liquefied fuel unit is used is overcome.
Systems for vaporizing that include marinized vaporizer units, and methods for making and using such systems
Marinized systems for vaporizing including a water bath vaporizer utilizing a slosh chamber having reduced water surface area to reduce the effects of wave created when the vaporizer is in motion, and systems utilizing such vaporizer, and to methods of making and using such systems.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING GAS IN A GAS STORAGE FACILITY FOR A GAS TANKER
The invention relates to a gas treatment method and system of a gas storage facility (2), in particular on board a ship, the method comprising the following stages: an extraction of a first gas (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b,) in the liquid state from a first tank (4) or first vessel (5; 500), a first subcooling of the first gas in the liquid state, and storage of the subcooled first gas in the liquid state in the lower part of the first tank (4) or of the first vessel (5; 500) or of a second tank or of a second vessel, so as to constitute a reserve layer of cold (4c, 5c, 500c) of the subcooled first gas in the liquid state at the bottom of the first or second tank (4) or of the first or second vessel (5; 500).
BOG processing apparatus
The present invention is to provide a BOG processing apparatus. The BOG processing apparatus includes a cooling device, a second cooling device, and a recovery device. The cooling device has a cooling drum, a BOC inlet part introducing the BOG, a first spray spraying LNG in an upward direction, a first filled layer contacting with the LNG and the BOG, a second spray spraying the LNG in a downward direction, a third spray spraying the LNG in a downward direction, a second filled layer adsorbing mist in the BOG, and a mist eliminator eliminating the mist in the BOG.
Fuel tank arrangement of a marine vessel
The present invention relates to a fuel tank arrangement of a marine vessel including a fuel tank for Liquefied Natural Gas, the fuel tank having a shell, a heat insulation in connection therewith, connections for a pipeline for bunkering LNG to the fuel tank, a pipeline for taking boil-off gas from the fuel tank and a pipeline for taking LNG from the fuel tank, and a deep well pump for pumping LNG from the tank to the pipeline, wherein at least one recess is extending inwardly from the shell and being arranged on top of the fuel tank, the deep well pump being installed in the at least one recess.
OFFSHORE LNG PROCESSING FACILITY
An offshore LNG processing plant includes a first module including a personnel accommodation facility on a first vessel, a second module including a gas treatment facility on a second vessel, and a third module including a gas liquefaction facility on a third vessel. Each of the first, second, and third modules are assembled on the corresponding vessels, and then transported to an offshore location in a body of water, such as a river, a lake, or a sea. At the offshore location, each vessel deploys legs to the bed of the body of water to raise a hull of each vessel out of the water. The first module is then coupled to the second module, and the second module is coupled to the third module. A fourth module on a fourth vessel is coupled to the third module to provide LNG storage.
Fuel gas distribution method
Fuel gas distribution method where residual fuel gas in a mobile fuel gas storage vessel being transported by a transport vehicle is transferred from the mobile fuel gas storage vessel to the transport vehicle for generating power. The fuel gas may be natural gas or hydrogen. The transport vehicle may be a fuel cell vehicle.
SYSTEM FOR STORING AND TRANSPORTING A CRYOGENIC FLUID ON A SHIP
An installation for storing and transporting a cryogenic fluid on a ship includes: a sealed and thermally insulating tank, having a ceiling wall including, from the outside to the inside, a primary thermally insulating barrier and a primary sealing membrane intended to be in contact with the cryogenic fluid; and a sealed line penetrating through the ceiling wall of the tank, the line including a bottom portion of which a first end is situated inside the ceiling wall of the tank and a second end is situated outside the ceiling wall of the tank in a thicknesswise direction of the ceiling wall, and a top portion fixed to the second end of the bottom portion. The bottom portion includes an alloy with low thermal expansion coefficient. The primary sealing membrane is tightly fixed to the bottom portion of the line around the line.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING BOIL-OFF GAS IN LIQUEFIED GAS REGASIFICATION SYSTEM
A device for processing boil-off gas in a liquefied gas regasification system includes a fuel compressor for compressing boil-off gas at a pressured required by a fuel consumer; a high-pressure compressor installed at the rear end of the fuel compressor in series with the fuel compressor so as to compress the low-pressure boil-off gas, which has been compressed by the fuel compressor, at a pressure required by a regasified gas consumer; a low-temperature heat exchanger for cooling the high-pressure boil-off gas compressed by the high-pressure compressor; a pressure-reducing device for reducing the pressure of the high-pressure boil-off gas, which has been cooled by the low-temperature heat exchanger, to the inner pressure of a liquefied gas storage tank for storing the liquefied gas; and a liquefied gas drum for separating flash gas generated by the pressure-reducing device in the pressure-reducing process.
