The blocking device (15) also includes a control module (70) enabling operation of the actuator (20) according to the data signal portion (D) exchanged with a corresponding control module (60) of the wireless terminal (12).

Modular fuel storage system

Methods and systems for modular fuel storage and transportation are provided. In an embodiment, a fuel storage system includes one or more fuel containers each supported by a fuel container support assembly. The fuel storage system may be mounted to a transportation device such as a vehicle or used in a stand-alone fashion. Each support assembly may include a plurality of detachable end support members such as end support members configured to support the end portions of the fuel container and side support members configured to support the body portion of the fuel container. Some of the end support members may include neck grooves such that when the end support members are coupled, the neck grooves form an enclosure around the neck portion of the fuel container. In an embodiment, the support assembly is configured to facilitate release of excess pressure in the fuel container.

METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR MONITORING A QUANTITY RELATED TO AN ASSET

A method for automatically electronically associating vessel identity information of a vessel with an unassociated telemetric device, the unassociated telemetric device comprising a processor and being configured to detect and transmit quantity or usage data and being configured with a location sensing device, wherein the unassociated telemetric device is configured to communicate with a remote server, the method comprising the steps of: the remote server receiving the vessel identity information comprising a deployment location for the unassociated telemetric device; the unassociated telemetric device operating in accordance with an automatic action rule; in response to the unassociated telemetric device operating in accordance with the automatic action rule, the processor receiving location information of the unassociated telemetric device from the location sensing device; the unassociated telemetric device transmitting the location information; the remote server receiving the location information; the remote server correlating the location information with the vessel identity information when resolving that the location information represents that the unassociated telemetric device is within a proximity to the deployment location, and the remote server automatically electronically associating the unassociated telemetric device with the vessel identity information, resulting in the unassociated telemetric device becoming an associated telemetric device, so that when the associated telemetric device generates quantity or usage information, the quantity or usage information transmitted by the associated telemetric device is applied to a data store of the remote server related to the vessel identity information.

Above ground water tank fill/drain system

A trench is dug under an above ground water storage tank either before erection of the walls or after the wall is erected. A (rectangular) sump is preferably made of ? inch steel. It serves as a conduit from an inner tank liner port to an outside tank fill or drain port. The system eliminates hoses hung over the top edge of the tank wall. A pump can fill the tank from the outer port. The tank can be drained using head pressure of the water and/or a pump.

DOUBLE WALLED INFLATABLE STORAGE STRUCTURE

An inflatable structure for gas storage includes an inner bladder containing a gas for storage and an outer wall spaced from the inner bladder. An intermediate space between the bladder and the outer wall is pressurized with a gas (such as air) other than the storage gas so that the structure is protected from environmental conditions such as wind and snow loading. The bladder and outer wall may be flexible fabric membranes and may be provided with lightweight support frames. The structures may be combined in a network of like structures for large scale storage.

Heat-insulating container provided with vacuum heat-insulating material, vacuum heat-insulating material, and tanker provided with heat-insulating container

A heat-insulating container being used under an environment where exposure to water of liquid is possible, includes a container main body having a substance holding portion which holds a substance at a temperature which is lower than a normal temperature on the inside of the substance holding portion; and a heat-insulating structure body which is provided in the container main body and includes at least a vacuum heat-insulating material. In addition, the vacuum heat-insulating material includes an outer cover material and an inner member sealed in a tightly closed and decompressed state on an inside of the outer cover material. In addition, the inner member is configured of a material which does not generate hydrogen in a case of coming into contact with the moisture of the liquid.

The present invention utilize a combination of wooden elements (20, 21), stainless steel membranes (22) and insulating materials in embodiments of the present invention. An object of the present invention is to be able to build the LNG tank separately from the building of the ship, and fit a complete or nearly complete LNG tank into the space of the ship hull when appropriate during the process of building the ship. Therefore, the building of the tank and the ship can be done in parallel, which by experience reduces the total time of building the ship considerably, and hence provide substantial cost savings.

Tank and method for constructing dike

In an LNG tank, a dike is formed by arranging precast blocks in the circumferential direction and layering the precast blocks in the vertical direction. Each of the precast blocks has loop joints on the top, bottom, left, and right side faces, and concrete is deposited between each two precast blocks adjacent in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction, whereby masonry joints are formed in the vertical direction and the circumferential direction. Prestress is imparted to the dike by PC steel members. The PC steel members are provided in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction of the dike, and are arranged so as to avoid the masonry joints in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction. Therefore, it is possible to construct the dike in a short time, and it is possible to provide a tank or the like that can reduce the construction period.
