The assembly also includes retaining means for retaining the rupture means out of contact with the frangible member to prevent rupture thereof and release means configured to release the retaining means to allow the biasing means to bias the rupture means into contact with the frangible member. The retaining means includes a bearing extending to engage the biasing means and hold it in a compressed state and the assembly includes also includes securing means for securing the bearing in the engaged state.

Flat inflation device

A device for the inflation of an inflatable life vest, notable in that it includes a storage casing containing at least two cartridges of pressurized gas which are arranged side-by-side and touching one another to form a row, and a release casing comprising at least one striker device that makes it possible, in the event of activation, to puncture each of the said cartridges simultaneously or in succession to release the gas they contain in gaseous form to the outside of the inflation device through at least one orifice made on the release casing, the said storage and release casings being in the overall shape of a flattened hollow parallelepiped and joined together removably and in a manner that is gastight with respect to the gas contained in the said cartridges.

INFLATABLE BAG

An inflatable bag includes a gas cylinder filled with a compressed gas and having a bottle mouth for discharging the compressed gas, a hole-piercing device pressable to pierce into the bottle mouth for letting the compressed gas be discharged out of the gas cylinder, an inner bag surrounding the gas cylinder and the hole-piercing device and having air holes for the passing of the discharged gas, and an inflatable outer bag surrounding the inner bag and inflatable by the gas that is discharged out of the gas cylinder and flows through the air holes of the inner bag. By the above configuration, the inflatable bag is placed in a box around the object to be protected and quickly inflated to form a filling buffer without generating heat, ensuring that the protected object is not easily deteriorated and facilitating recycling and cleaning.

A valve includes a valve body having an inlet for fluid communication with a space or source containing pressurised gas, and at least one outlet. A membrane is arranged between the inlet and the at least one outlet. A membrane puncturing element is arranged for movement between a retracted, inoperative position and an extended position in which it punctures the membrane. An actuating piston is operatively coupled to the membrane puncturing element for moving the membrane puncturing element between its retracted and its extended positions, the actuating piston being received in a piston bore of the valve body. The valve body also includes a cartridge receiving chamber for receiving a sealed actuating gas cartridge. A cartridge puncturing device is provided for puncturing the actuating gas cartridge. An actuating gas flow passage communicates actuating gas released from the actuating gas cartridge to the actuating piston bore upon puncturing the actuating gas.

High pressure reducing tilt nozzle

Provided is a pressure reducing tilt nozzle that includes a body defining a cavity having an inlet and an outlet, and a piston disposed in the cavity. The piston is biased in a first piston position away from the inlet allowing flow through the inlet and is movable toward the inlet to a second piston position preventing flow through the inlet when pressure in the cavity overcomes a biasing force biasing the piston in the first piston position.
