A raised pavement marker (RPM) is sized and configured to comply with Department of Transportation requirements and includes a main body with a top side, opposite angled side faces, opposite ends and a bottom surface structured to be bonded to a road surface. A sheet substrate is coated on a top surface with multiple layers of a photoluminescent composition containing one or more rare earth materials that emits a highly visible glowing light in dark or near dark conditions for at least 6 hours when fully charged. The sheet substrate is inserted within a recessed pocket on the top side of the RPM with the photo-luminescent top surface facing up and is covered by a transparent acrylic lens that is electronically welded to the main body to provide an integral one piece sealed structure. The opposite angled side faces may be fitted with prismatic reflective lenses.

Lighting device

A lighting device includes a lighting source, a case, and a light adjuster adjusting a path of light emitted from the lighting source. The light adjuster includes a first light adjustment panel, a second light adjustment panel, and a shielding panel. The first light adjustment panel is placed between the first reflection panel and the second reflection panel, and shields a part of the light emitted from the first lighting source. The second light adjustment panel is placed between the third reflection panel and the fourth reflection panel, and shields a part of the light emitted from the second lighting source.

Lighting and Collision Alerting System

An apparatus and system for mounting an exterior illumination fixture to the roof of a building or other structure. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide for a roof-mounted attachment apparatus comprising a metal plate comprising one or more apertures (i.e., nail holes) and at least one fastener extending through the metal plate. In certain embodiments, the at least one fastener is coupled to the metal plate such that the lower surface of the metal plate sits flush when installed on a surface of a roof. In accordance with certain aspects of the present disclosure, an exterior illumination fixture is configured to be coupled to the upper surface of the metal plate via the at least one fastener to enable one or more exterior lighting applications.

STREET LIGHTING DEVICE INCLUDING TRAFFIC SENSING AND COMMUNICATION WITH OBSERVERS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS

A thoroughfare lighting device includes a housing to be attached to a thoroughfare surface, and including sidewalls that taper. A plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) selectively illuminate individual lanes, including a first set of LEDs to emit a generally white light, and a second set of LEDs to emit colored light that is observable by an observer. A driver circuit operates the second set of LEDs to emit colored light illuminating a single lane indicating a condition of the individual lane. Optics may be carried by the housing and positioned in optical communication with at least a portion of the plurality of LEDs. A traffic sensor communicatively coupled to the driver circuit and configured to sense a traffic pattern and generate information regarding traffic on the associated thoroughfare. The driver circuit is configured to operate the plurality of LEDs responsive to the information generated by the traffic sensor.
