Method and system for managing light from a light emitting diode
A light source, for example a light emitting diode, can emit light and have an associated optical axis. The source can be deployed in applications where it is desirable to have illumination biased laterally relative to the optical axis, such as in a street luminaire where directing light towards a street is beneficial. The source can be coupled to an optic that comprises an inner surface facing the source and an outer surface that is opposite the inner surface. The inner surface can comprise a refractive surface that receives light headed away from the optical axis of the light source, for example opposite the street. The refractive surface can form the received light into a beam. The outer surface of the optic can reflect the beam back across the optical axis, for example so that light headed away from the street is redirected towards the street.
Garage floor barrier system
A garage floor barrier system for installation onto a garage floor for segregating debris. The barrier system includes rail portions, connectors, and cover members. The rail portion includes a notch on a bottom side to aid in installation and provides a recess for the placement of adhesive during attachment. The connectors allow for corner, angle, and straight connection and are constructed in a shape and dimension allowing for flexion. The barrier system is installed continuous around a parked vehicle and allows a user to both contain and easily remove trapped debris.
BODY WITH ENCLOSED LIGHTS
There is provided a body having a base made from a flexible material, the base having a plurality of sides and a length, one or more sides having a lighting channel formed in the base and having an opening in the one or more side, the lighting channel being continuous along the length of the base, a lighting cover mounted toward the top of the base that forms an enclosure with the lighting channel, and a linear light source enclosed within the enclosure and extending along at least a portion of the length of the base.
Luminaires
An LED luminaire (10) comprising: a main body portion (12) adapted, in use, to house an LED light panel (24); a mount (14) for securing, in use, the luminaire (10) to a surface; a driver unit (62); and a hinge (16, 42, 44) adapted to hingedly connect the main body portion (12) to the mount (14), wherein the hinge (16, 42, 44) comprises a, hollow interior volume for accommodating the driver unit (62), and wherein the driver unit (62) comprises a water-resistant housing.
Landscape lighting systems having interchangeable light diverting elements and light intensity controllers
A landscape lighting system includes a light fixture having an LED, a first light diverting element having a first light diversion angle associated therewith, and a second light diverting element having a second light diversion angle associated therewith that is different than the first light diversion angle, whereby the first and second light diverting elements are interchangeable and only one of the first and second light diverting elements are secured over the LED at any one time. The system includes a light intensity controller for communicating with the light fixture. The light intensity controller has a control element that is engaged for selectively increasing and decreasing the intensity of the light generated by the LED.
DYNAMIC ROAD MARKER
A road marker device comprising: a housing comprising a flat top surface and configured to be inserted in a road such that the flat top surface is leveled with the road surface; a light source housing operatively coupled with the housing, the light source housing comprising at least one aperture protruding from the flat top surface; at least one light source installed in the light source housing, wherein the at least one light source is visible to users of the road through the at least one aperture; and a tilt mechanism installed in the housing and operatively coupled with the light source housing, the tilt mechanism configured to allow descent of the light source housing below the road surface once a pressure is applied on the light source housing.
ROAD INNOVATION LIGHTING DEVICES
A lighting device for roadway illumination is disclosed, comprising a projector LED lighting assembly housed within a housing. The housing includes at least one slot tilted at an angle relative to a horizontal reference plane, enabling the emitted light to be directed in an angular fashion. The slot is configured to guide the light at an angle ranging from approximately 1 to 20 degrees downward, optimizing illumination for roadways, streets, and other ground-level applications. The device enhances visibility and safety by providing controlled, directional lighting while maintaining a versatile and durable design suitable for various outdoor environments.
GLOWING TILE ASSEMBLY
A glowing tile assembly includes a metal frame having opposing rolled edges to form a cavity for the acceptance of an LED. Tile is configured to be laid or set upon a flat base of the frame. The opposing rolled edges are adjacent the tile. An LED is located within the cavity configured to emit a light to a side of tile. A lip is formed on an exterior of the rolled edges and is configured to allow grout to pack under the lip and remain in contact with the tile.
Pressure-resistant outdoor lamp structure
A pressure-resistant outdoor lamp structure includes a solar lighting module installed between a base and a lamp cover, and a first pressure-resistant module with a plastic ring clamped and fixed between the base and the lamp cover, and a multiple of first plastic blocks extending outward from the plastic ring and the first plastic blocks are spaced from each other and arranged on an outer periphery wall of the base, such that a flexible plastic material can be set around the periphery of the outdoor lamp to enhance the ability of the outdoor lamp to resist and buffer external impact and compression.
Pixelated water display and design tools therefor
A water display including a number of pixels or manifolds that may include water nozzles to emit streams of water and/or other utilities such as lighting is described. The water streams may be pixelated so as to provide a high resolution waveform or other choreography. The choreography transitions between waveforms to provide the appearance of a cascading or undulating wave. A tool to design the water display and simulate its appearance is also described.
