CABLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS WITH INTEGRATED LOW VOLTAGE LIGHTING
Cable management systems that include a light source, such as a low voltage light source, integrally formed into or mounted to a cable management frame.
AUTOMATIC LIGHT INTENSITY COMPANSATING DEVICE OF SURGICAL LIGHT
An automatic light intensity compensating device of a surgical light includes a suspension or support system and one or multiple light heads carried on the suspension or support system. Each of the light head includes a housing, one or multiple grips mounted to the housing for hand holding and moving the light head to a desired position, one or multiple light sources mounted in the housing for illumination, a focus adjustment mechanism for adjusting the focal length of illumination, a focusing detection mechanism for detecting a position of the focus adjustment mechanism within a variation range, and an automatic illuminance compensation device, which automatically increases or decreases luminance of the light source according to the position of the focus adjustment mechanism.
Billiard Table Lighting
A billiard table top lighting apparatus provides substantially uniform lighting across the surface of a billiard table surface. In one form, the lighting apparatus includes a frame supporting lights that are non-centrally placed such that no lights are supported above a middle portion of the billiard table surface. So configured, the frame can have an attractive profile and further mount additional items above the billiard table surface to enable a variety of other features. For example, the frame may support one or more cameras, one or more motion sensors, one or more microphones, and/or one or more computing devices to enable any of a variety of innovative features. Such features could include automatic game play recording from one or more perspectives, merged video track storage for replay, review, and analysis, automatic lighting and dimming control, control of the apparatus from any mobile device, and the like.
Operating room lighting system
A flexible operating room lighting system may be coupled to a wall, ceiling, or fixture of a facility. The lighting system can modularly accommodate multiple illumination arms and incorporate one or more microphone thereon, permitting the vocal control using a processor for hands free operations. The lighting system may include a speaker and a camera to facilitate two-way communications with a user to facilitate demonstrations for individuals undergoing tutelage in the particular facility's profession. The lighting system may employ a stand with wheels to facilitate modularity. Further, a cover with a transparent front end may be provided to be slipped over the lighting system and securing through a cover fastener. By providing each illumination arm with a jack, the illumination arm may be modularly assigned, replaced, sanitized. Thus, the present invention provides reliable sanitary measures while further facilitating a flexible operable device through the illumination arms.
Direct/indirect luminaire systems and methods
A luminaire includes a housing, a downlight that includes one or more first light sources configured to emit a first light downwardly from the housing, a waveguide, and one or more second light sources. The waveguide is formed of a portion of an optical material and characterized by opposing planar faces joined by one or more edge faces about a periphery of the optical material. The waveguide forms at least a portion of an uppermost optical surface of the luminaire. The one or more second light sources are coupled with the housing and configured to emit a second light into the optical material through at least one of the one or more edge faces. The waveguide is configured to emit at least a portion of the second light upwardly from an upper one of the planar faces.
LIGHT FIXTURE WITH MULTIPLE OUTPUTS
A light fixture includes a housing having an upper wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall at least partially defining an interior and a bottom opening. A mounting tray is positioned in the interior and releasably connected to the housing. A first light emitter is connected to the mounting tray and has a first light output. A second light emitter is connected to the mounting tray and has a second light output. A third light emitter is connected to the mounting tray and has a third light output. A lens is connected to the housing. The light fixture can be optionally connected to a secondary light fixture and used to control light outputs from both fixtures.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLIES FOR MEDICAL DEVICE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Embodiments include a lighting assembly includes an elongate gasket body formed of a resilient, optically transmissive material. The gasket body includes a light source cavity at least partially defined by a light transmission portion and an attachment channel configured to attach the gasket body to a mount. A light source is disposed in the light source cavity. Other embodiments include securement ring including a clamp portion and a lighting assembly portion. The clamp portion includes first and second segments, each being semiannular in shape and curving between first and second ends, the first end of the first segment coupled to the second end of the second segment and the second end of the first segment coupled to the first end of the second segment to collectively form an aperture. The lighting assembly portion includes a first and second segments, each being semiannular in shape and including a light source.
SOLID STATE LIGHTING FIXTURES
A solid state lighting fixture that can be used in outdoor and indoor recessed lighting applications. The solid state lighting fixture has a recessed housing configured to be installed in a recess, and a solid state light assembly capable of being secured to the housing outside the recess. The solid state light assembly is at least partially made of a heat dissipating material capable transferring heat generated by the solid state light assembly to ambient air.
WALL INSTALLATION MOTION SENSOR FOR UV LIGHT SOURCE
A lighting fixture containing both visible light sources and UV light sources is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the fixture is an overhead fixture. UV light can sanitize/disinfect the surrounding environment over a period of about 30-45 minutes. In this way, viruses, germs, bacteria, mold, and the like can be destroyed to clean the air and/or surfaces (e.g., furniture) of the room exposed to UV light. Accordingly, embodiments of the present invention include a physical input device, such as a wall-mounted button, switch, or wireless device, that can safely and efficiently activate a lighting assembly to produce UV light in a way that protects occupants from unintentional exposure to UV light. This configuration is especially useful in situations where the use of UV light is regulated, such as in a hospital setting.
