SUPPORT FOR LIFE-LIGHT
A stable base supports a handle portion of an emergency light. The stable base has a stand portion and a base portion, which are separated from each other. The stand portion is assembled about the handle portion of the light, and has two pivotable legs extending therefrom. The handle portion itself together with the base portion forms a third leg. The base portion is formed from an upper and a lower portion assembled with a connecting member. A plate is formed on the lower base portion. In a first configuration, the legs are generally transverse to an axis of the emergency light handle, to form a tripod-like support on approximately level ground. In a second configuration, the legs are disposed downwardly so as to be generally parallel to the axis of the handle portion, such that the tips of the legs are disposed downward and are adapted to be inserted into the ground to resist high winds and gusts. In a third configuration, the legs are raised upward such that the tips of the legs are disposed adjacent to the handle portion of the emergency light, and are adapted to be inserted into a container for storage or shipping.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A lighting assembly including a shell, wherein the shell includes an inner wall defining an inner lumen, an outer wall encircling the inner wall, a set of radial fins connecting the inner and outer walls, the set of fins cooperatively defining a set of cooling channels between adjacent fins, the inner wall, and the outer wall; an insert removably mounted within the inner lumen, the insert defining a power storage lumen; a power storage unit arranged within the power storage lumen; a circuit board coupled to the power storage unit, the circuit board comprising a processor and communication module; a lighting module electrically connected to the circuit board, wherein the lighting module includes a substrate and a set of light emitting elements mounted to a first broad face of the substrate.
LOW PROFILE EMERGENCY BATTERY-DRIVER ENCLOSURE
A battery-driver enclosure for a light fixture includes a first member and a second member. The first member and the second member together define the battery-driver enclosure, and the first member and the second member overlap at non-adjacent corners of the enclosure. A method of assembling a battery-driver enclosure includes engaging the first member with the second member to form the battery-driver enclosure and such that the first member and the second member overlap at non-adjacent corners of the battery-driver enclosure.
Emergency medical services (EMS) visual light guidance aiding device to guide EMS to a specific location
An emergency medical services (EMS) visual light guidance aiding device is disclosed. The EMS visual light guidance aiding device is configured to aid EMS personnel in guidance to a specific location without maps, apps, or other conventional guidance mechanisms.
LIGHT ASSEMBLY
An improved light assembly includes aligned directional light sources mounted one behind another. A distal one of the light sources occludes light emitted from a proximal one of the light sources. A reflector is interposed between the light sources, with a convex surface facing the proximal one of the light sources. Thus, the light assembly projects a light field extending at least through an 180 hemisphere, and up to about 270 backwards from the forward orientation of the light field, well-illuminating lateral approaches to the assembly.
Multiple functions LED night light
A multiple function LED night light not only offers LED illumination with predetermined colors, functions, or effects, but also includes additional functions such as providing a power source, sensor(s), power fail functions, and wireless control functions. Lighting effects may also be achieved through the use of multiple optic or protective lenses that cause multiple reflections and/or refraction of light beams emitted by one or more single or multiple color LEDs.
BATTERY STORAGE VAULT AND UTILITY POLE SYSTEM
The present disclosure is directed to utility poles having a subterranean vault that houses batteries to store energy. The batteries may be charged and discharged to the electrical power grid. The batteries may operate electrical components of the utility pole when grid power is not available. The utility pole in one configuration is a small cell pole. In one arrangement, the small cell pole and battery vault stores sufficient energy to operate for several day during a power failure.
Networked lighting driver incorporating a physical negotiated link loss mode
A networked driver for a powered device (PD) includes an input connection capable of receiving power and data from an external power and data source, one or more output connections capable of supplying power and data to the PD, and a circuit capable of initiating delivery of a predetermined amount of power to the external load when a physical negotiated link between the external power and data source is lost.
RECHARGEABLE USB ELECTRICAL OUTLET WITH INTEGRATED LIGHTING
An electrical outlet device and system for providing light and power during the night or during a power failure. The device and system includes rechargeable energy storage devices that can be utilized to provide power to the outlet(s) and the light sources. The device and system can have two sections, a main and a removable section both having their own energy storage devices and light sources. The light sources can be controlled by a control circuit that can utilize one or more switches or sensors to control the activation or deactivation of the light sources and also the transfer of energy from the energy storage devices to the light sources or outlets of the main section. The main section can also have USB and electrical outlets or plugs to allow the device and system to be plugged into an AC or DC power source, and can transfer that energy to the USB and electrical outlets or plugs.
THIN PROFILE SURFACE MOUNT LIGHTING APPARATUS
An LED downlighting apparatus includes a housing with a sidewall having a front facing edge and a back facing edge positioned adjacent to a ceiling when the LED downlighting apparatus is installed in an opening of the ceiling. A depth of the sidewall is less than one inch and a thickness of at least a portion of the sidewall is less than three millimeters. An LED board and a lens are coupled to the housing. The lens is disposed with respect to the LED board such that the lens is illuminated from a back side. One or more mechanical couplers snap fit the apparatus to a junction box installed and positioned above the ceiling such that when the apparatus is snap fit to the junction box through the opening of the ceiling, the housing appears to be surface mounted to the ceiling.
