Lamp device, sensor system, and sensor device

A translucent cover (1012) defines a lamp chamber (1013) together with a housing (1011) while forming a portion of an outer face of a vehicle. A LiDAR sensor (1161) is disposed in the lamp chamber (1013) to detect external information of the vehicle. A half mirror (1162) is disposed in the lamp chamber (1013) so as to cover the LiDAR sensor (1161) from a side where the translucent cover (1162) is disposed. The translucent cover (1012) has a first transparency to visible light. The half mirror (1162) has a second transparency to the visible light that is lower than the first transparency.

An objective of the present invention is to provide a hot melt composition having a high form maintaining property at a high temperature and being in excellent adhesion to a substrate and in disassembly. The present invention relates to a hot melt composition comprising: (A1) a styrene-ethylene-ethylene/propylene-styrene block copolymer (SEEPS) and (B1) a hydrocarbon-based oil having an aniline point of 135° C. or more.

LIGHT FOR THE EXTERIOR OF A VEHICLE
20220146072 · 2022-05-12 ·

A light for the exterior of a vehicle includes at least one illuminant and a lens. The illuminant emits light in an activated state that hits the lens directly or indirectly via a reflector. The lens is transparent to light in a first predetermined wavelength range and reflects light in a second different wavelength range when the illuminant is deactivated. The illuminant is at least one light-emitting diode (LED). The diode emits light in a third wavelength range, which is predetermined such that the emitted light, after transmission through the lens, is present in a predetermined fourth wavelength range that is at least different from the second wavelength region. The light can be used as part of a rear light in a vehicle.

MOLDED ARTICLE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
20220134612 · 2022-05-05 ·

Provided are a molded article excellent in a Charpy impact strength and a method of producing the same. A molded article contains a methacrylic resin composition containing at least one methacrylic resin, in which a pencil hardness is 2 H or higher, and a craze formation time is 19 seconds or longer, the craze formation time being measured by sequentially performing the following steps 1) to 5): 1) preparing a test piece that is a strip-shaped molded article, the test piece having a through-hole provided on one end side in a longitudinal direction; 2) heating and drying the test piece; 3) clamping the other end side of the test piece in the longitudinal direction and fixing the test piece to a fixing table so that extending directions of an upper surface and a lower surface of the test piece coincide with a horizontal direction; 4) applying ethanol one or more times to a predetermined region of the upper surface while generating a surface stress on the upper surface by applying a load calculated by a specific equation in a vertical direction at a position where the through-hole of the test piece is provided, and maintaining a state in which the ethanol is applied; and 5) obtaining the craze formation time by measuring a time from the start of the application of the ethanol to the formation of the craze in the test piece.

Method for setting up a joining apparatus for joining a light lens to a housing of a motor vehicle lighting arrangement
11724462 · 2023-08-15 · ·

A method for setting up a joining apparatus for joining a light lens to a housing of a motor vehicle lighting arrangement. A first virtual model is created of the joining apparatus with a light lens and a housing received therein, a relative arrangement of the light lens to the housing corresponds to a target arrangement. A plurality of virtual models are created of the joining apparatus with the light lens and the housing received therein. The relative arrangement of the light lens to the housing deviates from the target arrangement in each case by means of virtual displacement of the adjuster. A target displacement is calculated of an adjuster on the basis of a functional relationship calculated and the relative arrangement in the test construction unit measured. A light lens is joined to a housing in the target arrangement by displacing the adjuster by the target displacement.

Illumination device for vehicles with temperature-dependent element for condensation removal and/or deicing
11725797 · 2023-08-15 · ·

An illuminating device for vehicles, including a housing, in which a light source and an optical unit for generating a predefined light distribution are arranged, including a cover shield, which closes an opening of the housing and through which light passes from an interior of the housing into surroundings, including means for condensation removal and/or deicing of the cover shield, characterized in that the cover shield includes a temperature-dependent light absorber, with the aid of which light is converted into heat depending on the temperature.

CLEAR OBELISK PROJECTOR SHIELD

A projector shield including a clear obelisk optic configured to modulate light exiting a vehicular headlamp. The clear obelisk optic comprises a base configured to sufficiently allow the passage of light therethrough, and a tip configured to refract light thereby preventing it from exiting the vehicular headlamp. The clear obelisk optic generates a light projection having a sufficiently dimmed area compared to surrounding areas.

VEHICLE SEARCHLIGHT SYSTEM WITH LIGHT SOURCE COUPLED TO SPHERICAL MOTOR

A searchlight assembly includes a mount structure adapted to be mounted to an external surface of a vehicle; a lens coupled to an extending from the mount structure and having an inner surface defining a cavity; a spherical motor disposed within the cavity and coupled to the mount structure to independently rotate about two perpendicular axes relative to the mount structure and the lens; and a light source disposed within the cavity and coupled to the spherical motor to be rotatable therewith about the two perpendicular axes.

Headlamp heater

Examples of the present disclosure relate to a headlamp heater for a headlamp assembly. In examples, a headlamp assembly comprises a heating element, which directs radiation toward a lens of the headlamp assembly in order to prevent or remove condensation/precipitation on the lens. In examples, the heating element is an infrared heating element, and the wavelength of radiation emitted by the heating element is selected to be a wavelength that excites water. In some examples, the heating element is angled toward the lens and/or has multiple angled surfaces, thereby altering the radiation pattern that is directed toward the lens such that it better matches the beam pattern of a light source in the headlamp assembly.

LAMP BODY

A lamp body includes a housing to be attached to a vehicle body, and a lens joined to the housing. The lens includes a heat-generating region that allows for heat generation.
