HEADLAMP FOR VEHICLES AND ANTI-CONDENSATION PROCESS
20250207753 · 2025-06-26 ·

A headlamp for vehicles has a housing containing a light source unit with numerous light sources, and an optical unit for generating a predefined light distribution. A cover lens covers a light-emitting aperture in the housing. A control unit is provided for the light sources. An anti-condensation means prevents condensation on a surface of the optical unit and/or the cover lens. The control unit contains a control program to operate the light source unit at an anti-condensation level higher than the normal level for generating the predefined light distribution. The difference between the anti-condensation level and the normal level is great enough that a relative humidity within the housing in an anti-condensation state is lower than in the normal state. Light sources in the light source unit that are not intended for generating the predefined light distribution are also switched on, in addition to those intended for such.

Illumination Apparatus for a Motor Vehicle
20250243982 · 2025-07-31 ·

An illumination apparatus for a motor vehicle includes a housing which is covered by an outer cover glass and has a surface illumination function in order to illuminate a predefined region of the surface of the outer cover glass when viewed from above from the outside onto the outer cover glass. An illuminant is provided at least in sections at the edge of the outer cover glass, and the outer cover glass includes a translucent light-guiding layer into which the illuminant radiates light along the planar extent of the light-guiding layer during operation. The light-guiding layer transmits the irradiated light along the planar extent, and a light-deflecting device is provided in the predefined region of the outer cover glass in order to deflect transmitted light in the light-guiding layer such that it emerges via the outer cover glass.

LIGHTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

The invention provides a lighting device for a vehicle for which a monitoring device and a light source may be disposed in a same space without being affected by heat and causing failure. The lighting device for the vehicle includes a housing accommodating the light source; and a lens portion covering the housing from an outside of the vehicle to be combined with the housing and forming a lamp chamber surrounded by a sealing portion, wherein the light source is disposed in the lamp chamber, and the monitoring device is disposed at an outside of the lamp chamber and at a position of a back surface of the lens portion.

LAMP DEVICE

The present invention includes a base which serves as a mounting part onto a vehicle, a light source unit, a translucent cover which covers a front surface side of the base so as to accommodate the light source unit inside and is mounted on the base to define a lamp body space, and an obstacle detection unit arranged at a horizontal side position of the light source unit on the lamp body space side of the translucent cover and configured to detect an obstacle by transmitting electromagnetic waves. The obstacle detection unit includes a housing and an obstacle detection device housed in the housing. The housing is fixed to the translucent cover and provided spaced away from the base.
