ILLUMINATION DEVICE AND AUTOMOBILE EQUIPPED WITH SAME
An illumination device includes a laser element, a fluorescent material, a light projection lens, a laser light reflector, a detection element, and a control unit connected to the detection element. The fluorescent material is disposed in a direction of propagation of laser light from the laser element, and converts the laser light into illumination light. The light projection lens and the laser light reflector are disposed in a direction of propagation of the illumination light from the fluorescent material. The detection element can detect the laser light reflected on the laser light reflector and external light. The control unit calculates a comparison value by comparing the amount detected by the detection element when the laser element is emitting the laser light and the amount detected by the detection element when the laser element is not emitting the laser light. When this comparison value becomes larger than the first threshold, the control unit stops or attenuates the laser light from the laser element.

LIGHTING DEVICE AND VEHICLE LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH SAME
A lighting device includes a thermal sensor, power converter circuits and a control circuit. The thermal sensor is configured to measure an internal temperature of a case. The power converter circuits are housed in the case and configured to be connected with different types of light sources, respectively. The control circuit is housed in the case and has priorities that are provided with respect to the different types of light sources according to their respective types. The control circuit is configured to, when the internal temperature is greater than a threshold, control the respective outputs of the power converter circuits so as to preferentially decrease an output for a light source corresponding to a first priority.
LIGHTING MODULE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE COMPONENT AND A CONNECTOR WHICH ARE DISPOSED ON A HEAT DISSIPATER, AND LIGHTING DEVICE FOR AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE COMPRISING SUCH A MODULE
A module comprising an electronic component and an electrical connector that are interconnected by a printed circuit board that is fastened to a heat sink, the connector includes a housing, connection contacts and a bundle of wires, which are secured to the housing and respectively interconnected electrically. The housing is arranged on one side of the board such that the contacts pass through the board so as to emerge onto the other side and to be connected electrically there. The board is fastened to the heat sink by the side thereof bearing the contacts. The surface of the heat sink receives the board having a boss at least level with the contacts, so as to avoid electrical contact between the contacts and the heat sink.
