Illumination apparatus for a motor vehicle
An illumination apparatus for a motor vehicle includes a lighting device having one or more light sources, a reflector arrangement having one or more scatter reflectors, and one or more transparent bodies each having a surface made of a plurality of flat facets. The illumination apparatus is designed such that light generated by the light source(s) of the lighting device is scattered at the scatter reflector(s) of the reflector arrangement, as a result of which scattered light is created, which is refracted at least partially on facets of the transparent body or bodies and then exits the illumination apparatus in order to generate a light distribution.

Optical resin and lighting device having same
A lighting device disclosed in an embodiment of the invention includes a substrate; a light emitting device disposed on the substrate; a resin layer sealing the light emitting device on the substrate; and a diffusion layer or a reflective substrate disposed on the resin layer, wherein the resin layer includes an oligomer, a monomer, and an additive, wherein the monomer includes IBOA (Iso-bornyl Acrylate), two or more dilution monomers and glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), the additive includes a photoinitiator and an amine-based light stabilizer, and in the oligomer and the monomer, the content of glycidyl methacrylate is 10 to 15%, and the resin layer may be a curable transparent resin cured by ultraviolet light.
LIGHT SOURCE FOR THE SIGNALLING SYSTEM OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A light source a matrix arrangement of light sources of a motor vehicle lighting module includes a substrate having an upper face, a lower face opposite the upper face, and an electronic circuit. At least one light-emitting element is mounted on the upper face of the substrate and includes a light-emitting part. Also included is an optical device for forming the light beams emitted by the light-emitting element and the lower face includes connection contacts connected to the electronic circuit, the electronic circuit being adapted to power the at least one light-emitting element. The light-emitting part of at least one light-emitting element has a surface area of less than 40,000 m.sup.2, and the beam-forming optical device has an optical element on the upper face of the substrate and/or on the light-emitting part of the at least one light emitting element.

Vehicle light assembly with photon recycling
A vehicle light assembly comprising a light chamber secured to a vehicle member. The chamber includes a partially transmissive lens and an interior. The interior includes a plurality of isotropically luminant surfaces and a substantially reflective surface. Further, the vehicle light assembly includes a light source arranged within the light chamber, and the light source is substantially oriented to emanate light that initially strikes the substantially reflective surface, propagates within the chamber along the isotropically luminant surfaces, and exits the chamber through the lens.
Light assembly for vehicle and method of forming the same
A light assembly for a motor vehicle according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a light source, and a lens arrangement configured to direct light from the light source in a first direction toward a running board and a second direction away from the vehicle. A method is also disclosed.

Vehicular light guide member, and vehicle lamp fitting
A vehicular light guide member includes a main body part and a light entrance part. The main body part has an exit surface and a plurality of specular surfaces facing the exit surface. Some of the specular surfaces constitute a displaced section that is closer to or farther from the exit surface than a reference section constituted of the remains of the specular surfaces. The specular surfaces as such allow light to be uniformly emitted through the exit surface.
