LIGHT MODULE, IN PARTICULAR FOR USE IN A LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A light module is particularly suited for use in a lighting device for a motor vehicle. The light module has at least one extensive light body and at least one illuminant, the light rays of which are able to exit, or exit, to the outer side via a light-exit area that is surrounded by side areas of the light body. At least one part of the side areas and a back area lying opposite the light-exit area are covered by a reflective or diffusely back-scattering cover. The cover is formed by a frame-like component with a back wall. A side wall of the frame-like component has an opening. The light body is able to be laterally slid into, or is laterally slid into, the frame-like component through the opening. The at least one illuminant is disposed on the side wall with the opening of the frame-like component.
Vehicle assemblies with loose layered build components
Vehicle assemblies may include a plurality of loose layered build components. One or more of the loose layered build components may include locating features for locating and supporting the component relative to other components of the assembly while still permitting movement of the component or one of the other components in at least one direction during the assembly process.
Lighting device and method for joining a lighting device
A lighting device for a vehicle, comprising a housing, an illuminant arranged in the housing and comprising a light panel for the passage of light generable by the illuminant, wherein a frame is provided, which is molded onto the light panel at least on the edge side in an at least sectionally circumferential fashion using a plastic injection molding process, and wherein the frame is joined to a connection portion of the housing by means of a plastic welded seam. The invention further relates to a method for producing a lighting device.
Aerodynamic magnetically attached light for a towed vehicle
A removable light for a towed vehicle includes a housing with a low profile shape, an anchor, a safety tether strap, and lens protection features.
Vehicle lamp structure
The present invention provides a vehicle lamp structure, which includes a base, a circuit board, at least one first light-emitting element, a ring block, a first optical element and an optical cover. The circuit board is disposed above the base. The first light-emitting element is disposed on a top surface of the circuit board. The ring block is disposed above the circuit board. The first optical element is disposed above the first light-emitting element. The optical cover hoods the first optical element. Wherein, the ring block surrounds the first light-emitting element, and the first optical element and the optical cover are spaced by a distance.
VEHICULAR EXTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY WITH GROUND ILLUMINATION AND ICON PROJECTION MODULE
A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror casing, a mirror reflective element and a ground illumination module having a freeform optic, a ground illumination light source, and first, second and third icon light sources. With the vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly mounted at the side of the vehicle and when the ground illumination light source is electrically powered to emit light, light emitted by the ground illumination light source that passes through the freeform optic illuminates the ground region adjacent to and along the side of the vehicle with a ground illumination intensity. When each individual icon light source is electrically powered to emit light, light emitted by the respective icon light source projects a respective projected image onto an icon region that is within the ground region. The respective projected images are individually projected to provide animated images projected onto the icon region.
LIGHT SHIELDING COMPONENT, AND CORRESPONDING OPTICAL ASSEMBLY, VEHICLE LAMP AND VEHICLE
One of the problems solved by an embodiment of the present invention is to solve the problem of light leakage. A light shielding component according to the present invention comprising a covering portion, and a snap-fit portion, wherein the covering portion is used to cover a light guide to block the transmission of light rays; and the snap-fit portion comprises at least one slot, which is used to fix the light shielding component. Compared with the prior art, the advantage of the solution of the present invention is that by using a light shielding component, the light beam leakage is better blocked, and a better visual effect is achieved.

Light source including modified multi-layer lenses
Disclosed is a multi-layer lens arrangement for a vehicle light. The lenses include printed ink or other deposited materials at each level of lens, and can, in some versions, create a three-dimensional effect for a graphic.
Retractable lighting device for illuminating trailers and other areas
Disclosed are various embodiments for a retractable lighting device for illuminating trailers and other areas. A retractable lighting device is configured to transition between collapsed and non-collapsed states where the retractable lighting device may include one or more light emitting components. A controller may be communicatively coupled to the driving mechanism, wherein the controller is configured to transmit a signal to the driving mechanism that causes the driving mechanism to transition the retractable lighting device from a collapsed state to a non-collapsed state and vice versa.
