The light guard assembly can include a frame and a light guard where each of the frame and the light guard include mounting portions such as clips, projections, grips, and/or latches. The frame can be assembled on the vehicle and the light guard can be coupled to the frame. The light guard assembly can be attached to or installed on the vehicle without removing the grille shell of the vehicle.
