Light fixture with single edge lit optical assembly
A light fixture with a single edge lit optical assembly produces various light distributions which provide targeted control of light output with peak intensity that is non-normal to the light guide output face. The compact form factor and modular design of the light fixture embodiments having narrow width are particularly well-suited for use in linear lighting applications requiring suspended, surface and recessed installations typically used to illuminate walls, floors and/or ceilings. The light fixture can also be selectively configured and oriented during assembly and installation to achieve various lighting distributions. Optical components within the light fixture are typically positioned and retained in optical alignment with internal support features of a linear housing. The optical assembly typically includes LED board, light guide, and one or more reflective surfaces. Additionally an optically transmitting component further provides a fixture assembler a range of design choices. A variety of light distributions can be achieved including asymmetrical and symmetrical with one or more peak intensities. Further embodiments utilize selective alignment of light guide with one or more reflectors to achieve different light distributions.
LIGHTING SYSTEM COMPRISING LIGHT SOURCE DRIVER SEPARATED FROM LIGHT SOURCE UNIT AND METHOD THEREOF FOR ILLUMINATING BUILDINGS
The present invention provides a lighting system comprising a main power source, a light source driver electrically coupled to the main power source, and a light source unit driven by the light source driver. The light source driver is encased within a dedicated or independent driver housing. The light source driver and the driver housing are physically and electrically connected to the light source unit via a flexible cord. The length of the flexible cord is so configured that the light source unit can be installed at different locations inside a building without moving the light source driver around.
Road tunnel lighting system with continuous plurality of lighting devices
A lighting system having a plurality of lighting devices continuously arranged along the longitudinal direction of a tunnel, such that the distance between the lighting devices corresponds to the flicker frequency for the speed of traffic traveling through the tunnel. Each of the lighting devices includes a longitudinal base, means for securing the base to the tunnel, a translucent cover, at least one printed circuit board (PCB), and a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) arranged on the PCB to form at least one row. The distance between the LEDs is selected such that the angle of emission of the LEDs, provide in the longitudinal direction, a substantially uniform illumination distribution at the desired height of the lighting device. The means of securing the base to the tunnel enables adjustment of an angle of inclination of each lighting device, relative to the transverse direction of the tunnel to create a substantially uniform light output.
LINEAR LUMINAIRE INCLUDING A LIGHT INSET INSERTED IN A CHANNEL
A linear luminaire includes a linear channel defining an interior space and a linear light inset configured for being inserted into the channel in the interior space. The light inset includes a cover and a printed circuit board fixed to the cover. The printed circuit board supports a plurality of light emitting diodes. The cover base wall includes a translucent portion. The light emitting diodes are arranged for emitting light through the translucent portion. The cover includes two cover connectors, each configured for being snapped into the channel to hold the cover in the interior space. The cover connectors are on an opposite side of the printed circuit board as the translucent portion.
Structural Beam and LIght Fixture for a Walkable Clean Room Ceiling
A structural beam and light fixture for a walkable ceiling of a clean room is composed of an elongated channel and a lamp disposed in the elongated channel. The lamp is configured to direct light through the bottom side of the elongated channel. The structural beam and light fixture is attached to adjoining ceiling components and is configured to support a load applied to the adjoining ceiling components. The structural beam and light fixture, combined with other walkable ceiling components, define ceiling top and bottom sides that are flush.
Mechanical integration of flexible LED strips
A lighting device includes a flexible housing, at least two light emitting elements, and at least one mounting member. The flexible housing extends along a length direction of the lighting device and has an inner surface configured to reflect light. The at least two light emitting elements are arranged along the length direction of the lighting device and are mounted to the flexible housing. The at least one mounting member is an integral component of the flexible housing and extends continuously along the length direction of the lighting device. The at least one mounting member includes a base section and a sequence of mounting sections. At least two of the mounting sections are separated from each other by a recess. The sequence of mounting sections extends from the base section of the at least one mounting member.
Strip lighting system for direct input of high voltage driving power
Strip lighting systems that include a series of LEDs and which comply with AC driving power.
LED PANEL LIGHT AND FRAME COMPONENT
The invention provides an LED panel light and a frame component. The frame component includes a frame and a moving plate, wherein the moving plate is assembled at the inner side of the frame movably, an extrusion space is formed between the opposite faces of the moving plate and the frame, an expansion piece is assembled in the extrusion space, the moving plate is close to a light guide plate located at the inner side of the moving plate due to an extrusion counterforce of the expansion piece, and the side face of the moving plate in the face of the light guide plate is provided with a light source assembling area for assembling a light source component.
Connection system for a luminaire, and a lighting system using the connection system
A connection system for a linear lighting system has channels of adjacent luminaires coupled together by a coupling arrangement having a first plate, a second plate and fixings for clamping the first and second plates around wall portions of the two channels. The fixings are slidable along slots so that the coupling arrangement can be slid into an operable position or to an out-of-the way position for disassembly. One of the first and second plates comprises a spring member having sprung projections for projecting into the apertures, to provide an automatic clamping function when the coupling arrangement is tightened. For example, there may be an outer coupling plate and an inner spring plate which forms the spring member.
