In at least one embodiment, an exterior rearview winglet assembly for a vehicle is provided. The assembly includes an exterior shell, a base bracket, a first housing, a finisher, and a first electrical device. The exterior shell includes a first side orientated toward a front of the vehicle and a second side orientated toward a rear of the vehicle. The base bracket is positioned in the exterior shell to couple the exterior shell to the vehicle. The first housing is positioned in the exterior shell. The finisher is being attached to the first housing and extending from at least a portion of the exterior shell at the second side of the exterior shell. The first electrical device is directly attached to the first housing and the first electrical device is independent of attachment to the finisher.

A vehicular lamp includes a light guide body configured with a two-color molded article of a light-transmitting member and a non-translucent member, and a light source configured to introduce light to the translucent member. The light guide body has a curved portion. The translucent member has a reflective step formed on a first surface thereof, which is in contact with the non-translucent member, so as to emit the light of the light source from a second surface, which is opposite the first surface. The second surface is exposed to an outside of a vehicle body on which the vehicular lamp is mounted.
Turn signal for vehicle
A turn signal for a vehicle has a blue LED as a light source, and an outer cover irradiated by the blue light. The outer cover includes a molded body of a polymeric material including phosphors dispersed therein that absorb blue light and emit light. By means of the present invention, it is possible to provide a turn signal for vehicles which has improved visibility and which imparts excellent visibility and sufficient luminous intensity over a wide angle. Further, because the entire outer cover surface-emits light, uniformity of luminous intensity is ensured without subjecting the outer cover to light scattering treatment, enabling as a result preventing glare caused by light scattering treatment, making this turn signal safe without being unpleasant for pedestrians and drivers of nearby vehicles. Furthermore, because no complex optical design is necessary, this turn signal saves space and can be arranged in a vehicle.

A headlight for a motor vehicle includes at least two light sources and a driver, which is arranged to vary the light intensities of the light sources with a phase shift to one another periodically between a minimum and a maximum and in the course of a period to set intermediate values between the maximum and the minimum. In a phase of the period, in which the first light source reaches the maximum of its light intensity, the light intensity of the second light source is situated at an intermediate value and increases.

The light guide may include a light receiving surface within the enclosure and a light emitting surface outside the enclosure so that light emitted from the LED light source is received by the light receiving surface of the light guide and directed toward the light emitting surface of the light guide and light is output from the light guide.

A vehicle mirror assembly includes a mirror casing, a mirror, a prism member, and a light emitting member. The prism member is disposed forwardly of a light emitting region of the mirror, and has a front major surface formed with a plurality of parallel prism grooves. The light emitting member is configured to permit a light beam to emit therefrom along a beam axis in response to the detection of another vehicle's approach, and is disposed to permit the beam axis to be oriented substantially perpendicular to groove axes of the prism grooves.

The present invention relates to a light assembly for a vehicle comprising: a housing; a lens covering the housing; a plurality of light sources arranged in the housing; wherein the plurality of light sources comprises at least one first light source, at least one second light source and at least one third light source; and a reflector body mounted in the housing; wherein the reflector body comprises a reflector element and different zones for each of the at least one light sources; wherein light emitted by the at least one first light source is captured by the reflector element which reflects the light towards the lens, the lens directing the light generally downward towards the ground area when the light assembly is attached to the vehicle, light emitted by the at least one second light source is passed through an aperture in the reflector body without reflection of the emitted light, and light emitted from the at least one third light source is captured by the reflector body which reflects and directs the light, in particular, horizontally towards the lens, with the lens in particular directing the light generally horizontal, and a light collector is located between the reflector body and the housing; wherein the light collector captures and transmits the light emitted from at least one of the at least one light sources, a rear view device and a vehicle with at least one light assembly.
