CONTROLLER WITH SENSOR-RICH CONTROLS
Described herein are controllers with sensor-rich controls for enhanced controller functionality. An example control may include a pressure sensor that is configured to detect an amount of a force of a press on a cover of the control based at least in part on a proximity of a metal layer to the pressure sensor. This control may further include a touch sensor for detecting an object contacting the cover of the control. Additional embodiments disclose, among other things, integrated trackpads and D-pads, as well as backlighting features that indicate a functional state of the controller.
VIDEO GAME WITH HAPTIC STIMULATION CONTROL
A haptic stimulation device may be controlled based on received user input for interacting with a video game application running on a computing device. Based on a determination that the interacting has triggered a haptic feedback condition of the video game application, haptic feedback commands including a haptic stimulation effect may be generated based on the triggered haptic feedback condition. The haptic feedback commands may be transmitted to the haptic stimulation device for execution of the haptic stimulation effect. The haptic stimulation effect may include a vibration, a suction, a thrust and/or a twirl. The haptic feedback commands may also include haptic stimulation parameters, such as a haptic stimulation pattern, a haptic stimulation intensity or a haptic stimulation duration associated with the execution of the haptic stimulation effect. The haptic stimulation parameters may be limited based on an override condition, such as a capability of the haptic stimulation device.
IMMERSIVE COUCH
The disclosure relates to an immersive couch, and more particularly to an immersive couch configured to be movable in three degrees of freedom using a concise and simple mechanism for moving an inflatable body, thereby not only improving convenience in use, safety, handling, storability, and maintainability, but also reducing manufacturing costs, operating costs, and maintenance costs. The immersive couch includes: a couch body formed as an inflatable body; a holding unit installed on the couch body; an actuation connecting member including one end connected to the holding unit; a rotary body connected to wind and unwind the actuation connecting member; a rotary body actuator rotating the rotary body forwards and backwards; and a controller controlling operations of the rotary body actuator.
INPUT APPARATUS, METHOD, AND GAME PROCESSING METHOD
An example input apparatus includes an elastic member, a base portion and a strain gauge. The elastic member includes a first end portion and a second end portion, and at least a part of the elastic member is elastically deformable. The base portion holds the opposite end portions of the elastic member so that a ring is formed by the base portion and the elastic member. The strain gauge is provided on the base portion and detects a strain generated on the base portion due to deformation of the elastic member in response to an input from the user. Note that instead of the configuration where a ring is formed by the base portion and the elastic member, the input apparatus may be configured so that two elastic members are held by the base portion.

RESISTANCE CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AMUSEMENT ATTRACTIONS
A resistance control system of an amusement attraction includes a support assembly having a base, a pivot joint, and a support beam extending between the base and the pivot joint. The resistance control system includes a spring plate coupled to the pivot joint of the support assembly, and includes at least one spring engaged with the spring plate. Additionally, the resistance control system includes an actuator plate positioned between the spring plate and the base of the support assembly, as well as at least one actuator coupled between the actuator plate and the base. The at least one actuator is configured to move and secure the actuator plate relative to the pivot joint to adjust a resistance to movement about the pivot joint.

Game controller and game system
A first control unit includes a first operation data generation section for generating first operation data in accordance with a motion of a first control unit body included in the first control unit. A second control unit includes a second operation data generation section for generating second operation data in accordance with a direction input operation performed by a player or a motion of a second control unit body included in the second control unit. Further, one of the first control unit and the second control unit includes a transmission section for transmitting the first operation data and the second operation data to a computer at a predetermined timing.
Method and system for athletic motion analysis and instruction
A system and method for analyzing and improving the performance of a body motion of an animal or human subject requires instrumenting a subject with inertial sensors, monitoring a body motion of interest, converting sensor data into motion data and animation, comparing the motion data with existing data for motion related performance parameters, providing a real-time, information rich, animation and data display of the results in color coded displays; and based on the results prescribing a training regime with exercises selected from a library of standardized exercises using standardized tools and training aids.
GLASSES CASE AND SYSTEM
A glasses case for a pair of glasses that in turn includes an integral display, the glasses case including a housing, where the housing encloses a volume in which the glasses are to be stored; and a battery operably coupled to a power access unit from which the glasses, when stored in the housing volume, can draw power; and where the housing of the glasses case includes, on the outer portion thereof, user control inputs laid out in a configuration similar to, and operational as, a conventional handheld videogame controller, and adapted to provide inputs to a computing system driving the integral display of the glasses.
