Information handling system controller adaptive haptic feedback
A portable information handling system interacts with haptic devices of a game controller though a direct wired interface when the game controller couples to opposing sides of the information handling system and through a wireless interface when the game controller couples to a bridge having a wired interface to communicate with the game controller and a wireless interface to communicate with the information handling system. The haptic devices provide a first haptic response associated with a desired vibration for a weight of game controller and information handling system when the game controller couples directly to the information handling system, and a second haptic response associated with the desired vibration for a weight of the game controller and bridge when the game controller couples directly to the bridge for wireless communication with the information handling system.

The game apparatus generates a selection image including at least an image of the operational character selected by the player and each other user, an image of the additional character selected by the player, and an image of the type of the additional character, for display, during selection of the operational character and the additional character.

A portable information handling system interacts with a game controller through either a direct connection at a wired interface at the sides of opposing controller housings and the information handling system housing or through a bridge having a bridge housing that directly couples to the controller housing as a bridge to the information handling system, such as with a wireless interface. A cross button and a game controller with Dpad are provided. The cross button includes a button cap, a silicone pad, a circuit board and a controller. The circuit board is communicatively connected to the controller, and the silicone pad is located between the button cap and the circuit board. A first anti-mistouch pillar and four first trigger pillars are disposed on the silicone pad, and they are located on a side on the silicone pad close to the circuit board. The four first trigger pillars are evenly distributed on the silicone pad, and the first anti-mistouch pillar is located at a center of the four first trigger pillars. When all of the four first trigger pillars trigger signals, the controller controls a virtual button to trigger. A virtual button function of cross button is added without changing the original button, so the applicability of the cross button is enhanced.
