Methods and systems are provided for verifying an input provided at a controller including detecting a finger gesture on a surface of the controller. Responsive to detecting the finger gesture, multi-modal data is collected from a plurality of sensors and components tracking the finger gesture. The multi-modal data is used to generate an ensemble model using machine learning algorithm. The ensemble model is trained in accordance to training rules defined for different finger gestures. An output is identified from the ensemble model for the finger gesture. The output is interpreted to define an input for an interactive application selected for interaction.

A gaming system comprises a handheld user input device, a processor for receiving input data from the handheld user input device and a gaming application for receiving data from the processor based on the received input data from the handheld user input device. The handheld user input device emulates one of a plurality of different devices associated with the gaming application. This application discloses an audio play and acquisition method. The method is applicable to a terminal connected to a Bluetooth headset. The terminal is configured with a terminal microphone, and the Bluetooth headset is configured with a headset microphone. The terminal displays a program interface for playing first audio through the Bluetooth headset in a form of a stereo sound effect. After receiving a voice input signal, the terminal invokes the terminal microphone to activate a voice input channel to acquire second audio as voice input content. When the first audio is played through the Bluetooth headset in a form of the stereo sound effect, the second audio is acquired as the voice input content through the terminal microphone. The second audio is acquired through the terminal microphone while ensuring the first audio is played with a stereo sound effect by the Bluetooth headset.

A game-agnostic event detector can be used to automatically identify game events. Event data for detected events can be written to an event log in a form that is both human- and process-readable. Descriptive text for the event data can come from a common event dictionary that is hierarchical in nature, such that events of the same type can be correlated across different games even though the precise nature or appearance of those events may be different. Systems and methods for using natural language processing (NLP) to control automated gameplay in one or more online games within an online gaming platform are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: train a pretrained text-based system to generate sequences indicating one or more activities, wherein activities are associated with characteristics of user-controllable characters such that a particular user-controllable character having a particular characteristic may perform, within the online gaming platform, one or more activities from a particular set that is associated with the particular characteristic; receive user input describing one or more commands; generate, using the pretrained text-based system, a sequence indicating one or more activities based on the user input; transfer the generated sequence to the online gaming platform; effectuate automated execution of activities by the particular user-controllable character in accordance with the generated sequence.
