BURNER COMPONENT OF A BURNER, AND BURNER OF A GAS TURBINE HAVING A BURNER COMPONENT OF THIS TYPE
A burner component of a burner. The burner has a flow channel, in which combustion air flows in a flow direction from upstream to downstream. The burner component includes a wall portion, which adjoins the flow channel; a plurality of injection nozzles, which are arranged in the wall portion; and a plurality of vortex generators, which are arranged on the wall portion. The vortex generators have a concavely curved sloped surface rising in the flow direction to improve the distribution of the fuel in the combustion air.
Adjustable fuel orifice
A system including a variable orifice component including a main body, a main fuel path extending through the main body, and a control body positioned in the main body. The control body is movable between a first position wherein a first fuel path thereof is in fluid communication with the main fuel path to enable fuel to flow therethrough, and a second position wherein a second fuel path thereof is in fluid communication with the main fuel path to enable fuel to flow therethrough. The system further includes a vent body coupled to the main body. The vent body is movable between a first position wherein the main fuel path is in fluid communication with a vent orifice of the vent body to provide fluid communication between the main fuel path and a surrounding environment, and a second position wherein the main fuel path is not in fluid communication with the vent orifice.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BUILDING ORNAMENTAL FLAME DISPLAYS
A modular burner system includes a nipple elongated along an axis and a plurality of jets connected to the nipple. The jets are spaced from each other along the axis. Each jet connected to the nipple has a jet axis and is elongated from the nipple along the jet axis. Each jet connected to the nipple has an exit on the jet axis spaced from the nipple to release fuel to fuel a flame at the exit. The jet axis of at least one of the jets connected to the nipple is at a first angle relative to the axis and the jet axis of at least one of the jets connected to the nipple is at a second angle relative to the axis different than the first angle.
DOUBLE-STACKED GAS BURNER
A gas burner assembly for a cooktop appliance including an upper chamber, a first plurality of burner ports, a lower chamber and a second plurality of burner ports. A first fuel-gas injector is configured to direct a first stream of fuel gas into the upper chamber, thereby drawing surrounding air to yield injection of a first mixture of fuel gas and air into the upper chamber. A second fuel-gas injector directs a second stream of fuel gas into a secondary opening that communicates with the lower chamber, thereby drawing surrounding air to yield injection of a second mixture of fuel gas and air into the lower chamber. The upper chamber being isolated from the lower chamber so that the first mixture of fuel gas and air in the upper chamber does not mix with the second mixture of fuel gas and air in the lower chamber.
CYLINDRICAL BURNER APPARATUS AND METHOD
A cylindrical burner apparatus and method which produce low NO.sub.x emissions and low noise levels without being dependent upon a blower, or natural draft, for providing air flow. A flow of combustion air is induced into a cylindrical burner lube by discharging a gas fuel from a plurality of discharge ports located inside the rearward end of the tube. At least some of the discharge ports are oriented to direct jets of the gas fuel toward flame stabilization structures positioned downstream of the discharge ports.
Cylindrical burner apparatus and method
A cylindrical burner apparatus and method which produce low NO.sub.x emissions and low noise levels without being dependent upon a blower, or natural draft, for providing air flow or flue gas recirculation. A flow of combustion air is induced into the initial tube pass of the burner by discharging a gas fuel from a plurality of discharge ports located in the initial tube pass. At the same time, a flow of recycled flue gas is induced through a bypass duct between a subsequent tube pass of the burner and the initial tube pass by discharging one or more jets of gas fuel through the bypass duct.
ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR INJECTING A GASEOUS COMBUSTION AGENT
An assembly for injecting a gaseous combustion agent into a combustion zone, the assembly having a chamber having an inlet, through which the agent is introduced into the assembly; at least one primary injector configured to convey a primary flow of the agent from the chamber toward the combustion zone, at least one secondary injector for conveying a secondary flow of the agent from the chamber toward the combustion zone, a pressure detector; a regulating; and a control system connected to the pressure detector and to the regulating system, the control system controlling the regulating system so that the flow section of the at least one secondary passage is regulated as a function of the pressure or of the variation in pressure detected by the pressure detector.
Premixing device and combustion device
The premixing device includes a first and a second venturi having a pressure reducing portion for air, and a gas supply passage for supplying fuel gas to the venturis, and generates air-fuel mixture by mixing fuel gas with air flowing in the venturi by using a fan and supplies the air-fuel mixture to a burner. A first and a second nozzles for reducing pressure of fuel gas are disposed in the gas supply passage, and the first and the second nozzles are formed in the same nozzle shape as the pressure reducing portion of the first and the second venturis.
