Gas burner assembly for a cooktop appliance
A gas burner assembly for a cooktop appliance is provided including a bottom housing and a center body positioned concentrically within the bottom housing. A mixing chamber is defined between the bottom housing and the center body, and the center body further defines an inner chamber positioned radially inward of the mixing chamber. Apertures provide fluid communication between the mixing chamber and the inner chamber. An upper housing is positioned over the center body and defines a primary burner chamber and a boost burner chamber, the boost burner chamber being in fluid communication with the inner chamber of the center body. A primary fuel inlet is in fluid communication with the primary burner chamber and a boost fuel inlet and a boost air inlet are in fluid communication with the mixing chamber.
Gas-fired boiler having a high modulation ratio
A gas-fired boiler comprises at least one burner (1) and feeding means (4) for feeding a fluid to such burner (1), said feeding means (4) being connected to a fan (5), a gas duct (7) being provided to feed gas to said fan (5). The burner comprises at least a first main flame-diffuser element (25) and a second auxiliary flame-diffuser element (26, the feeding means being a feeder duct (4) connected to the main diffuser element (25) and to the fan (5), said fluid comprising air or a mix of air and gas which is sent in such feeder duct (4), a tubular body (17) connected to the auxiliary diffuser element (26) opening in said duct (4), a gas carrying pipe (10) opening directly in such tubular body (17).
Double flame crown gas burner
A gas burner has a body, a supply unit and a lid having a central flame crown and a peripheral flame crown. The supply unit has at least one supply duct, three injectors connected to said at least one supply duct, three Venturi tubes respectively associated with said injectors, wherein the injectors and the Venturi tubes have parallel horizontal axes and fixing means used to fix the Venturi tubes in position. The body of the burner has a central chamber and two peripheral chambers in communication with the Venturi tubes and with an upper central chamber and an upper peripheral chamber respectively disposed under the central flame crown and the peripheral flame crown.
Gas burner
A burner unit includes first and second burner assemblies supplied with a gas mixture via first and second valves, respectively. A first valve control assembly controls the first and second valves between open and closed positions. Third and fourth burner assemblies of the burner unit are supplied with a gas mixture via third and fourth valves, respectively. A second valve control assembly controls the third and fourth valves between open and closed positions. The first and second valve control assemblies are separate assemblies that are configured to cooperate to simultaneously provide a gas mixture to the first, second, third and fourth burner assemblies in respective high power settings of the first and second valve control assemblies.
Cooktop appliance with a gas burner assembly
A gas burner assembly for a cooktop appliance includes a normally aspirated primary burner and a concentrically-positioned forced air boost burner. A dual-outlet solenoid valve receives fuel from a fuel source and selectively directs the fuel to a first solenoid outlet in fluid communication with the primary burner and a second solenoid outlet in fluid communication with the boost burner. The solenoid valve is positionable in a first position where the first solenoid outlet is substantially open and the second solenoid outlet is substantially closed and a second position where the first solenoid outlet is partially open and the second solenoid outlet is substantially open.
METHOD OF OPERATING AN AIR PUMP FOR A BOOSTED GAS BURNER ASSEMBLY
A gas burner assembly and a method of operating the same are provided. The gas burner assembly includes fuel regulating device for providing a flow of fuel and an air pump for providing a flow of air to a boost burner for combustion. The method includes stopping the flow of fuel using the fuel regulating device and ramping down the operation of the air pump to slowly stop the flow of air. For example, the flow rate of the flow of air may decrease linearly over a predetermined time period to ensure a lean fuel/air mixture is not provided to the boost burner which may result in undesirable flame characteristics.
POWER LIMITED CLOSED LOOP COOKING WITH A GAS BURNER
A gas burner assembly and a method of operating the same are provided. The gas burner assembly includes a gas burner and a fuel regulating device for providing a flow of fuel to the gas burner to heat a cooking utensil. The method is a closed loop cooking method that includes monitoring the temperature of the cooking utensil and adjusting the power output of the burner accordingly to drive the utensil temperature to a target cooking temperature or profile. However, the burner power is limited to a maximum fuel flow rate, e.g., to ensure safe operation and to prevent the flames from the gas burner from engulfing the sides of the cooking utensil.
PNEUMATIC ACTUATING INJET VALVE WITH DELAYED SHUTOFF
An injet for a gas burner includes a first gas orifice and a second gas orifice. An injet body defines an air passage and a gas passage. The first and second gas orifices are mounted to the injet body. A pneumatically actuated gas valve blocks a flow of gaseous fuel through the gas passage to the second gas orifice in a closed configuration. The pneumatically actuated gas valve is configured to adjust from the closed configuration to an open configuration in response to a flow of air through the air passage. A flow restriction body is disposed upstream of the pneumatically actuated gas valve. The flow restriction body defines a through hole via which air is flowable to pneumatically actuated gas valve.
COOKTOP APPLIANCE WITH A THERMALLY ISOLATED INJET
A cooktop appliance includes a top panel that defines a hole. A gas burner includes a burner body that defines a plurality of flame ports. A receptacle is mounted to the top panel at the hole of the top panel. The burner body is positioned on the receptacle. An injet is mounted to the top panel such that the injet is positioned opposite the burner body about the top panel. A fuel orifice is positioned on the injet. The fuel orifice is oriented for directing a flow of fuel to the burner body. The burner body is positioned such that the burner body does not contact the injet.
GAS BURNER WITH AN OFFSET FLAME PORT ARRAY
A gas burner includes a burner body that defines a fuel chamber and a plurality of flame ports. The plurality of flame ports are configured for directing a flow of fuel and air out of the fuel chamber. The plurality of flame ports are distributed along a circumferential direction on the burner body such that the plurality of flame ports are uniformly spaced from a center of the fuel chamber along a radial direction. The plurality of flame ports may be oriented to direct flames away from a void within the plurality of flame ports.
