PELLET GRILLS
Pellet grills and associated methods of operation are disclosed. An example pellet grill includes an auger and an auger motor operatively coupled to the auger. The example pellet grill further includes one or more processors configured to determine whether the auger is jammed. The one or more processors are further configured, in response to determining that the auger is jammed, to command the auger motor to modify a direction of rotation of the auger.
PELLET GRILLS
Pellet grills and associated methods of operation are disclosed. An example pellet grill includes a main body defining a cooking chamber. The example pellet grill further includes a burn pot located within the main body. The burn pot includes an upper end, a lower end located opposite the upper end, and a sidewall extending between the upper end and the lower end. The sidewall has an opening. The example pellet grill further includes an ignitor extending into the burn pot through the opening of the sidewall. The example pellet grill further includes an ignitor carrier removably coupled to the ignitor. The ignitor carrier extends away from the burn pot and is accessible from outside the main body.
PELLET GRILLS
Pellet grills and associated methods of operation are disclosed. An example pellet grill includes an ignitor configured to be activated. The ignitor has a duty cycle associated with a number of activations of the ignitor. The example pellet grill further includes one or more processors configured to determine whether the duty cycle has violated a threshold. The one or more processors are further configured, in response to determining that the duty cycle has violated the threshold, to generate a notification indicating that the threshold has been violated. The one or more processors are further configured to cause the notification to be presented at a user interface of the pellet grill.
PELLET GRILLS
Pellet grills and associated methods of operation are disclosed. An example pellet grill includes a burn pot configured to combust pellet fuel received within the burn pot. The pellet grill further includes an auger configured to deliver the pellet fuel to the burn pot. The pellet grill further includes an auger motor operatively coupled to the auger. The pellet grill further includes one or more processors configured to determine whether a shutdown sequence of the pellet grill has been initiated. The one or more processors are further configured, in response to determining that the shutdown sequence has been initiated, to command the auger motor to reverse a direction of rotation of the auger. The reversal is to cause pellet fuel which the auger has not yet delivered to the burn pot to be purged in a direction away from the burn pot.
PELLET GRILLS
Pellet grills and associated methods of operation are disclosed. An example pellet grill includes a one or more processors configured to detect an improper shutdown of a control system of the pellet grill. The one or more processors are further configured to generate a notification in response to the control system regaining power following detection of the improper shutdown, the notification indicating that the control system was improperly shutdown. The one or more processors are further configured to cause the notification to be presented at a user interface of the pellet grill.
PELLET GRILLS
Pellet grills and associated methods of operation are disclosed. An example pellet grill includes a main body defining a cooking chamber. The main body includes a first end, a second end located opposite the first end, and an outer wall extending between the first and second ends. The main body has a lateral extent defined by the first and second ends. The example pellet grill further includes a hopper mounted to a rear portion of the outer wall of the main body. The hopper includes a fuel intake opening extending from a first location within the lateral extent of the main body to a second location outside of the lateral extent of the main body.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DRYING WOOD CHIPS
A method and device for drying wood chips to be used as raw material for a gas-generating reactor, the device being disposed between the storage for wood chips and the reactor. Product gas of the reactor is at least partially used in a block-type thermal power station (BHKW), and hot air from the housing of the block-type thermal power station is used to heat and dry wood chips in a drying hopper which has at least one outlet for the cooled humidified air. The wood chips enter the drying hopper through a first air-tight lock and exit the drying hopper through a second air-tight lock.
BURNER FOR THE COMBUSTION OF MATERIAL FOR COMBUSTION IN THE FORM OF A COMMINUTED WOOD PRODUCT, IN PARTICULAR OF FINE MATERIAL
The disclosure relates to a burner for burning combustible material in the form of a comminuted wood product, especially fine material, with (a) a combustible material feed for supplying the combustible material, (b) a screw conveyor for conveying the combustible material, (c) a combustion zone, wherein the screw conveyor is arranged to convey the combustible material (18) from the combustible material feed (20) to the combustion zone, (d) an air feed for supplying air to the combustion zone, and (e) a burner mouth for leading combustion gases out of the combustion zone. According to the disclosure, a compacting zone is provided, which is configured behind the combustible material feed and in front of the combustion zone in the direction of material flow (M) of the combustible material, wherein an auger of the screw conveyor and the compacting zone are preferably designed to compress the combustible material in the compacting zone.
Ignition device using pellet fuel
The present invention relates to an ignition device using pellet fuel capable of quickly igniting and burning the pellet fuel, which is supplied into an inner container, and including a container part having the inner container in which the pellet fuel is accommodated while being dropped therein and an outer container of which an upper part is integrally provided with an outer side of the inner container, a heater bar provided at a lower part of the container part and configured to ignite the pellet fuel while being heated by electrical energy, and a cover provided at an inner bottom of the inner container and configured to cover the heater bar.
SOLID FUEL BURNER AND COMBUSTION DEVICE
This solid fuel burner is provided with: a venturi tube in which a channel for mixed fluid in a fuel nozzle narrows toward the center in the channel cross section; a fuel concentrator that imparts, to the mixed fluid, a velocity component away from the center of the fuel nozzle; and a channel separation member that separates the channel of the fuel nozzle into an internal side and an external side; wherein the channel separation member is shaped in such a way that the cross sectional area of an external channel is larger at the downstream end than at the upstream end, and the upstream end of the fuel concentrator is located between the upstream end and the downstream end of an expanded portion of the venturi tube. This solid fuel burner prevents solid fuel particles, which is ground biomass fuel, from adhering and depositing inside the nozzle.
