Combustion gas particle adhesion prevention boiler and method
A combustion gas particle adhesion prevention boiler includes a furnace for containing a combustion gas and passing an exhaust gas; a dust collector for collecting combustion gas particles present in the exhaust gas; a combustion unit for combusting fuel and injecting a flame generated by the combustion into the furnace in order to generate the combustion gas; and a voltage application unit for negatively charging the fuel. The combustion gas particle adhesion prevention boiler, and a method using the same, prevent combustion gas particles generated by the combustion of fuel from being adhered to a tube, the inner wall of a furnace, etc., by applying a negative voltage to the combustion unit, and applying a positive voltage to a dust collector, such that the negatively charged combustion gas particles can be easily collected in the dust collector by the attractive force with the positively charged dust collector.
Method of spray drying and washing and method of controlling air pollution
A method of spray drying and washing using a spray drying apparatus, includes: spraying dehydrated filtrate from a spray nozzle hung down from a top side of the spray drying apparatus; introducing a part of flue gas into the spray drying apparatus to dry the dehydrated filtrate; wherein a compressed air is introduced into the spray nozzle to facilitate the spraying and into the wash nozzle to perform air purging during the spray drying, and jetting washing liquid from a wash nozzle provided on a side wall of the spray drying apparatus to wash the spray nozzle and an inside of the spray drying apparatus body, wherein the feeding of the dehydrated filtrate to the spray nozzle is stopped during the washing.
SMOKE REMOVAL DEVICE
A smoke removal device, which can burn the particulates in the smoke efficiently, includes a tube body and a combustion unit. The combustion unit is provided in the tube body and includes a main body, a gas pipeline, and a lighter. The main body is located at a first end of the tube body. A smoke passage is formed between a periphery of the main body and an inner wall of the tube body, and the smoke enters the smoke removal device through the smoke passage. The main body has a central passage therethrough, where a fuel gas is ignited. The fuel gas is guided to the central passage through the gas pipeline and then ignited by the lighter to burn the smoke particulates passing through the smoke passage.
System and method for reducing liquid discharge from one or more devices
The present invention relates generally to the field of emission control equipment for boilers, heaters, kilns, or other flue gas-, or combustion gas-, generating devices (e.g., those located at power plants, processing plants, etc.) and, in particular to a new and useful method and apparatus for reducing and/or eliminating various liquid discharges from one or more emission control equipment devices (e.g., one or more wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) units). In another embodiment, the method and apparatus of the present invention is designed to reduce and/or eliminate the amount of liquid waste that is discharged from a WFGD unit by subjecting the WFGD liquid waste to one or more drying processes, one or more spray dryer (or spray dry) absorber processes, and/or one or more spray dryer (or spray dry) evaporation processes.
Device and method for chemical looping combustion, having a particle separator provided with an inclined intake duct
The present invention relates to a device and a method for chemical looping combustion, for which the end of the intake duct (4) opening out within the chamber of the separator (1) is inclined with respect to a horizontal plane (H).
Methods and Equipment for Treatment of Odorous Gas Streams
A method for removing noxious, hazardous, toxic, mutagenic, and/or carcinogenic compounds and/or precursor compounds from a comingled gas, liquid, and/or solid stream is described. In one embodiment, the method is used to prepare the stream for feeding to an oxidizer, such as a thermal oxidizer, to reduce the amount of particulate matter discharged by the oxidizer and includes passing the stream through an ambient or chilled temperature condenser followed by an optional gas/solid separator, and one or more gas scrubbers prior to feeding to the oxidizer.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING BOILER EFFECTIVENESS
A method for improving effectiveness of a steam generator system includes providing air to an air preheater at a mass flow such that the air preheater has a cold end outlet temperature defined by the improved air preheater operating with increased heat recovery (HR) of at least 1% calculated according to the equation: HR=100%?((Tgi?TgoAdvX)/(Tgi?TgoSTD)?1). The method requires either reducing the amount of heat that flows into the air preheater from the flue gas and/or increasing the amount of heat extracted from the flue gas. The method includes mitigating SO.sub.3 in the flue gas which is discharged directly from the air preheater to a particulate removal system and then directly into a flue gas desulfurization system. The method includes extracting heat from the Flue gas to create equipment preheat and/or flue gas stack reheat air with the latter being fed to heat the flue gas prior to entering a discharge stack to raise the temperature of the flue gas to mitigate visible plume exiting and to mitigate corrosion in, the discharge stack.
BOILER
A boiler includes a flow channel having a selected chamber delimited by walls made at least partly of conductive material and being grounded, and a device arranged at least partially inside the selected chamber. The device includes an ion source comprising a corona electrode and an electrically passive body having an opening for corona discharge. The corona electrode is located inside the electrically passive body. A fan/shielding-gas connection is in the electrically passive body. The shielding gas exits the electrically passive body through the opening. The device also includes a high-voltage source for the corona electrode. The walls of the selected chamber of the boiler form a ground potential for the corona electrode to collect the fine particles of flue gases on the walls of the selected chamber.
ABATEMENT APPARATUS
A method of cooling an abatement apparatus for abatement of an effluent stream from a semiconductor processing tool includes: providing at least one modular cooling assembly having a cooling capacity; determining a cooling requirement of an abatement apparatus; and incorporating into the abatement apparatus a number of the modular cooling assemblies whose cumulative cooling capacity at least matches the cooling requirement of the abatement apparatus. In this way, multiple modular cooling assemblies may be incorporated into the abatement apparatus, each of which provides cooling capacity. The number of modular cooling assemblies can be selected to suit the cooling requirement of the abatement apparatus.
