Sigils for use with apparel
Apparel is disclosed that can be worn to assist an interactive game in tracking the movement of the wearer. The apparel may include one or more tracking marks formed of designs, patterns, or reflective materials that can be easily tracked by an interactive game. By providing tracking marks on apparel, rather than using a special-purpose device that must be separately worn, a player may enjoy a more natural feel when playing the interactive game. A user can wear the apparel for everyday purposes, and then simply begin playing the game wearing the apparel without having to put on any additional equipment. The apparel may use reflective materials, and the interactive game can employ a camera and a light source configuration where the camera is located within the observation angle of a player employing retroreflective materials reflecting light from the light source.
Incentivizing location-based actions by groups
A method of incentivizing location-based actions by groups is disclosed. A group of users of a game networking system is notified that an incentive reward is to be provided based on a number of members of the group performing a location-based action transgressing a threshold. The incentive reward is provided based on the number of members of the group performing the location-based action transgressing the threshold.
INTERFACE SYSTEM, PROGRAM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR LOCATION GAME
The present invention is provided with: a virtual display data generating unit which generates fantasy blocks according the progress of a game accompanied by the movement of a user; a synthesis processing unit which superimposes the generated fantasy blocks on a real map and displays the superimposed result; and a status display unit which displays a change in status of a virtual object, wherein the status display unit groups the fantasy blocks for each prescribed attribute, and displays, for each group, the proportion of the number of blocks for which the statuses have changed, in each group.
STORAGE MEDIUM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
A non-limiting example game system includes a processor incorporated within a main body apparatus, and the processor creates, based on operation inputs of a player, a game stage by selecting components corresponding to a virtual room and by arranging panels corresponding to the components on a grid-shaped arrangement area. In the virtual room, a passage, a stairs, a door with lock blocking the passage and a treasure chest are arranged. A key for releasing the door with lock is contained in the treasure chest. The player creates the game stage by connecting all of the passages and the stairs from a start room that a game is started to a room where a boss enemy object is arranged and by taking arrangement of the doors with lock and the treasure chests containing the key into consideration.
Network gaming ride attraction
A method for operating an entertainment attraction includes receiving an input selection from a guest relating to a characteristic of the attraction. The guest creates their guest profile, or by accesses their previously created profile stored in a memory. The profile may be changed by the current input selection made by the guest, with the changed profile stored for the guest's next use of the attraction. If the attraction is a ride, the guest is assigned to a viewing position, an active prop, a seat, or a vehicle of the attraction. The attraction is then operated with the input selection and/or the guest's profile influencing a characteristic of the attraction as perceived by the guest. A mobile application gameplay may unlock specified game features to change the attraction experience. The attraction may alternatively be a theater or game arcade type of attraction.
METHOD FOR PROVIDING BATTLE ROYALE GAME USING SUPPLY BOX AND SERVER USING SAME
The present invention provides a method for providing a battle royale game using a supply box, the method comprising the steps of: (a) allowing a particular player to select a particular item owned by the particular player or allowing the particular item to be selected through a predetermined first algorithm in a first state by a game server; (b) when information relating to the particular item is acquired, generating a particular supply box including the particular item and corresponding to the particular player, and determining location information relating to a location on a map, at which the generated particular supply box is input when the game enters a second state later, by the game server; and (c) when the game has entered the second state, placing the particular supply box with reference to the location information and supporting the particular player to play the battle royale game by using the placed particular supply box by the game server.
Guided interactions with books
A system for providing guided interactions with books includes a content delivery terminal communicatively coupled to a computing platform including a hardware processor and a memory storing a content delivery software code, a content registry, and a library of entries corresponding respectively to multiple interaction plans for guiding an interaction with a book. The hardware processor executes the content delivery software code to detect, via the content delivery terminal, a book corresponding to content included in the content registry, and to identify an interaction plan for the guided interaction based on one or more of the content and a user input received by the content delivery terminal. The content delivery software code further identifies a first portion of the content for use in initiating the interaction plan, and outputs the first portion of the content to the content delivery terminal for printing by the content delivery terminal in the book.
Server device, control method performed by the server device, program, and terminal device
An item can be provided to a user by a lottery and the item odds can be changed in accordance with a prescribed condition. A control method, performed by a server device connected via a communication line to a terminal device operated by a user, can be initiated by selecting a lottery mode from among a plurality of lottery modes. Following the selection of the lottery mode, the system may hold a drawing from among a plurality of types of items on the basis of the selected lottery mode, and, following the holding of the drawing, may ensure that the won item is provided to the user via the terminal device.

System and method for processing random events
Implementations of the present disclosure are directed to a method, a system, and an article for managing the use of global position information in a multi-player online game. An example computer-implemented method can include: identifying a number of random events for which each random event has a plurality of possible outcomes and each possible outcome has a respective probability of occurrence for each random event; selecting a first possible outcome from the plurality of possible outcomes; determining a probability distribution for the first possible outcome that defines a relationship between (i) a number of occurrences of the first possible outcome in the number of random events and (ii) a range of probabilities; selecting a first probability from the range of probabilities; and determining the number of occurrences of the first possible outcome based on the probability distribution and the selected first probability.
