20210319873 · 2021-10-14 ·

A software platform for managing fitness challenges or other competitive group challenges may include a multivariable progress tracking feature and interface. Multivariable progress tracking may be configured by defining a plurality of tracked inputs such as steps taken, minutes spent exercising, hydration levels, and weight loss. A relationship may be configured between multivariable inputs and a point total goal for the challenge such that each type of input from the user will contribute a variable amount of points towards a total goal. Multivariable inputs may be manually provided by users, or may be automatically provided by a wearable device or other smart connected device. As user progress is tracked by point total, the system may provide users customized interface that allow input of the tracked inputs, and may display leaderboards and progress illustrations that show the progress of the entire group.

Automatic movement of player character in network game

A game includes player characters in a virtual space. The game is progressed in accordance with game progress information, which is useable for generating a game screen. The game screen is configured to be displayed on a display device. An instruction for registering a player character, which is manipulated in the game by a first player, is received, and the player character of the first player is registered as a copy non-player character. The copy non-player character is configured to be manipulated in the game by a second player. The game progress information is updated, and data of the player character of the first player is updated in accordance with a manipulation of the copy non-player character by the second player during a period in which the first player is in an off-line state.

INCENTIVIZING LOCATION-BASED ACTIONS BY GROUPS

A method of incentivizing location-based actions by groups is disclosed. A group of users of a game networking system is notified that an incentive reward is to be provided based on a number of members of the group performing a location-based action transgressing a threshold. The incentive reward is provided based on the number of members of the group performing the location-based action transgressing the threshold.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ATHLETIC MOTION ANALYSIS AND INSTRUCTION

A system and method for analyzing and improving the performance of a body motion of an animal or human subject requires instrumenting a subject with inertial sensors, monitoring a body motion of interest, converting sensor data into motion data and animation, comparing the motion data with existing data for motion related performance parameters, providing a real-time, information rich, animation and data display of the results in color coded displays; and based on the results prescribing a training regime with exercises selected from a library of standardized exercises using standardized tools and training aids.

Fantasy game system and method for player selection and scoring

A first list of available players is provided to each individual user who then selects a first fantasy lineup, where selections by another individual user does not preclude other individual users from also selecting the same player. First fantasy lineups are received from each individual user, the fantasy lineups comprising one or more players selected from the first list of available players. Each individual user may provide a replacement lineup prior to the end of a game. A subsequent list of available players is provided to each user and does not include players from the first fantasy lineup. Subsequent fantasy lineups from each individual user are received comprising only players selected from the subsequent list of available players. None of the players of the first fantasy lineup for an individual user is included in any subsequent fantasy lineup of the individual user.

Information processing device, system, information processing method, and program

There is provided an information processing device including an action history acquiring unit configured to acquire action history information on a user, the action history information being accumulated in a predetermined time frame, an attribute score calculating unit configured to calculate an attribute score of the user for one or more attributes in an attribute group, the attribute score being based on the action history information, and an object generating unit configured to generate an object on the basis of the attribute score, the object representing the user.

Aspects of this disclosure relate to rewarding users of an electronic game for real-world physical activity. Further aspects relate to altering virtual items based upon physical activity. An electronic game may comprise or otherwise relate to an online world (such as a “Virtual World”). Users may be represented through customized graphical representations, such as avatars. An account of a user (or entity) may be associated a “virtual region.” A threshold level of real-world physical activity may result in obtaining a reward that may be associated with a virtual item. A reward may be configured to result in: (1) altering visual appearance of a virtual item within a virtual region; (2) altering a virtual characteristic of a virtual item, such that the first user may engage in at least one additional virtual activity using that virtual item; and/or (3) acquiring a new virtual item for a virtual region.

In a communication system including a server and a plurality of communication terminals capable of communication with the server, based on a variety of parameters indicating the status of a space formed within a game playable by the user of each communication terminal over the communication system, the server transmits advisory information, which suggests the next action for the space, to the communication terminal. The communication terminal displays a screen including the received advisory information.

Systems and Methods for Competitive Scene Completion in an Application

In the disclosed systems and methods for competitive scene completion, an application displays an initial scene of a first scene completion challenge and displays within the initial scene a plurality of markers. Each of the markers has corresponding predefined designated coordinates and corresponds to a furnishing unit type. The application also displays virtual furnishing units that match the furnishing unit type of a corresponding marker. User selection of virtual furnishing units results in display of a three-dimensional rendition of the selected units at corresponding coordinates within the scene, thereby creating an augmented scene that comprises the initial scene with three-dimensional renditions of selected virtual furnishing units. The augmented scene or user selections of virtual furnishing units is submitted to a remote server and the user is provided with a reward.
