MODULAR COOKING APPLIANCE
A modular cooking appliance for cooking a variety of foods has interchangeable tops and a base to receive the tops. The base has a burner that is fed from a fuel supply and controlled by a valve. The interchangeable tops mate to an open top. One of the interchangeable tops is a grill grate that fits in the open top. Another interchangeable top is a griddle with a flat cooking surface. The griddle mates to the open top and is kept spaced from the base to allow exhaust gases to escape. Another interchangeable top is a pizza oven with a stone portion and a dome portion. The stone portion directs exhaust gases from the burner into the dome portion.
COOKING GRATE FOR A GAS BURNER COOKTOP
A cooking grate includes a peripheral frame defining a periphery of the cooking grate, a plurality of fingers extending from the peripheral frame toward a center of the cooking grate, and a slot formed in the peripheral frame, the slot forming a passageway through the peripheral frame from a lower portion to an upper portion thereof in the vertical direction.
Gas burner arrangement and household cooking appliance
A gas burner arrangement for a household cooking appliance includes a hob plate and a gas burner mounted on the hob plate. The gas burner includes a first mixing chamber for mixing combustion gas with primary air, a second mixing chamber, separate from the first mixing chamber, for mixing combustion gas with primary air, at least one first primary air opening for supplying primary air to the first mixing chamber, and at least one second primary air opening for supplying primary air to the second mixing chamber. The at least one first primary air opening is arranged below the hob plate and the at least one second primary air opening is arranged above the hob plate.
COMBINATION GRATE AND GRIDDLE FOR A GAS COOKTOP
A combination grate and griddle for a cooking hob includes a base frame extending around a perimeter of the combination grate and griddle to define an open central area. At least one article supporting feature is connected with the base frame, extends at least partially into the open central area, and defines an upper supporting face. A griddle body is connected with the base frame and extends within the open central area around the at least one article supporting feature. The griddle body defines a cooking surface spaced apart from the upper supporting face of the at least one article supporting feature.
A GAS BURNER ASSEMBLY
A gas burner assembly (10), in particular for a gas cooking hob, comprising a burner cap (12) and a burner body (14). The burner cap (12) is arranged or arrangeable upon the burner body (14). The burner cap (12) includes a plurality of flame ports (20). The flame ports (20) are formed within a horizontal portion or within a substantially horizontal portion of the burner cap (12). The burner body (14) includes a mixing chamber (22), a Venturi pipe (24), at least one air inlet (26), a gas injector (28) and a gas supply channel (36). At least the mixing chamber (22), the Venturi pipe (24), the at least one air inlet (26) and the gas supply channel (36) form a single-piece part. The flame ports (20) of the burner cap (12) are arranged above the mixing chamber (22) of the burner body (14), when the burner cap (12) is arranged upon the burner body (14).
HIGH EFFICIENCY HIGH POWER INNER FLAME BURNER
A gas burner for a cooking appliance includes a body defining perimeter and having a plurality of first groups of respective pluralities of first outlets a plurality of second groups of respective pluralities of second outlets. Each of the first outlets respectively defines a first outlet area, and each of the second outlets defines respective reduced outlet areas that are less than the first outlet area. Further, the first groups and second groups are alternately arranged around the perimeter, and a total number of first outlets is greater than a total number of second outlets.
Controlled secondary air supply range burner
A powered secondary air supply ranger burner and method thereof provide an efficient burner with improved heat transfer. An atmospheric range burner controls a burner flame by insulating the burner and supplying a secondary air to the burner. The secondary air concentrates a heating zone to a center of a cooking vessel to be heated by the burner flame. The secondary air also controls a size and a shape of the burner flame.
Vortex shield for a gas burner
A gas burner of a cooktop appliance includes an annular burner body extending along the circumferential direction with an annular fuel plenum defined within the annular burner body. A plurality of ports are defined in the annular burner body. Each port of the plurality of ports extends from the annular fuel plenum inward towards a center of the gas burner assembly. The gas burner assembly also includes a vortex shield inward of the annular burner body along the radial direction. The vortex shield is positioned and configured to redirect a flow of unignited fuel from the ports away from the center of the gas burner assembly.
COOKTOP GRATE ASSEMBLY
A cooktop grate assembly includes a heat shield having an outer rim and a central plateau region offset from the outer rim by a connecting wall. The central plateau region defines an opening for receiving a burner assembly. A grate is positioned over the heat shield. The grate includes supports that extend over the central plateau region. A gasket is disposed adjacent to the heat shield. The gasket engages at least one of a base of the grate and feet of the supports to retain the grate in position relative to the heat shield.
Tabletop Cooking Assembly
A tabletop cooking assembly for preparing foods thereon includes a burner element, a pan surrounding the burner element, a grill adjacent to the burner element, and an exhaust plenum adjacent to the grill having a plurality of apertures for drawing smoke away from the grill and an outlet for exhausting smoke therefrom. The exhaust plenum forms a defined volume around the grill to draw the smoke into the exhaust plenum and away from the grill such that the smoke does not pass through the grill or about the burner element. An exhaust duct and at least one filter assembly having at least one filter disposed therein are in fluid communication with the exhaust plenum for filtering grease. The subject invention also includes a blower for exhausting the smoke from the exhaust duct to an area outside of and immediately adjacent to the tabletop cooking assembly.
