DOOR LATCH DETECTION WITH MOTOR CURRENT ANALYSIS
Controlling a door latch of a cooking appliance is provided. A controller monitors motor current of a motor driving a door latch during a locking operation of a door of the cooking appliance. The controller deactivates the motor responsive to the motor current reaching a closed door threshold amount of current. The controller indicates the door being in a closed state responsive to the current draw over time matching a predefined current draw curve.
Retractable door for an oven
A cooking appliance includes a body having an interior to receive product to be cooked, the body having an opening via which the product can be moved relative to the interior; a pilot mounted within the body; and a door attached to the body to close the opening. The door includes a first latch mounted to the door and a second latch mounted to the door and independently reciprocable relative to the first latch between a first position and a second position, wherein the second latch is urged to move towards the second position such that, as the door is moved to close the opening, the second latch is received within the body and is deflected towards the first position by the pilot until a portion of the second latch clears the pilot and is urged to move towards the second position to come to rest behind the pilot.
LATCH MODULE AND AN APPLIANCE USING THE SAME
A latch module incorporated with an automatic opening function and a secure lock function includes a latch, a spring that applies a force to move the latch in a first direction, a drive to move the latch in a second direction, a cam that transmits power of the drive to the latch, and first and second switches that are turned on and off by the cam. The first and second switches are in a first mode in which the two switches are turned on and the latch is disposed at a manual lock position, a second mode in which the first switch is turned on and the second switch is turned off and the latch is disposed at an opening position, a third mode in which the first switch is turned off and the second switch is turned on and the latch is in a secure lock position.
HEATING COOKING APPARATUS
A heating cooking apparatus (100) includes a housing (1), a lid portion (21), a moving member (25), at least two connecting members (60), and a pivoting mechanism (30). The housing (1) includes an opening and a first face disposed on an outer periphery of the opening. The lid portion (21) includes a second face (21B) facing the first face, and a fixing member (26) fixed to the second face (2B). The moving member (25) moves along a first direction (D1) with respect to the housing (1). At least two connecting members (60) connect the housing (1) and the lid portion (21) when the lid portion (21) is placed at a position where the lid portion (21) covers the opening. The pivoting mechanism (30) couples the fixing member (26) of the lid portion (21) and the moving member (25) such that the lid portion (21) pivots about a rotation axis extending along a second direction intersecting with the first direction (D1).
Door lock for a domestic electrical appliance
A door lock for a domestic electrical appliance includes a locking member which is electrically switchable between an unlocking position and a locking position, which locking member in the unlocking position allows a closed door of the domestic appliance to be opened and in the locking position is in blocking engagement with a blockable component at least when the door is closed, and an auxiliary member, separate from the blockable component, which is movable in dependence on the closing of the door from a release position into a blocking position. The blocking engagement effects blocking of the closed door against opening. In the release position, the auxiliary member allows the locking member to be transferred from the unlocking position into the locking position; in contrast, in its blocking position, the auxiliary member blocks the locking member against being transferred from the unlocking position into the locking position.
Support frame for an appliance
An oven includes a support frame for improved load distribution. The support frame includes a vertical support column that can include an elongated bead provided in a wall of the vertical support column. The support frame can also include a base rail. A bottom end of the vertical support column can terminate in an embossed pocked formed within the base rail.
Domestic appliance with controlled door opening
A domestic appliance (for example, a microwave oven), comprising: a housing; a front door; a retention mechanism (for example including a latch), located within the housing and engageable with the door; wherein the retention mechanism is movable between a first configuration, in which the door is retained in a closed position, and a second configuration, in which the door is non-engaged; an electromechanical actuator (for example a relay), adapted to move the retention mechanism out of said first configuration; and a controller (for example a microprocessor coupled to the relay, the microprocessor being operable in responsive to one or more signals to activate the relay, and thereby release the door from the closed position. Under spring bias, the door thus opens to about 30-45 degrees. The microprocessor-controlled door opening may be operable in three or more modes, including: actuation of a touch switch, remote control, or a microwave end of cooking.
Latch module and an appliance using the same
A latch module for controlling an opening and a closing of a door of an appliance includes a latch, a spring that applies an elastic force to the latch, a motor; and a cam that contacts a contact surface of the latch and is coupled to the motor to drive the cam to pivot the latch. The cam includes a first radius, a second radius, and a third radius in a circumferential direction at an outer circumference of the cam. The latch is positioned at a first basic position when the first radius of the cam contacts the contact surface of the latch, positioned at a second basic position when the second radius of the cam contacts the contact surface of the latch, and positioned at a third basic position when the third radius of the cam contacts the contact surface of the latch.
Collapsible camp stove
A collapsible camp stove having a cover, a chassis having a fuel burner and a pot support; and the pot support and the chassis and the cover are all pivotally interconnected to one another in a parallelogram structure wherein pivotal opening of the cover relative to the chassis causes the pot support to raise upwardly away from a top surface of the chassis while the pot support continuously remains parallel to the top surface of the chassis.
Solid fuel burning stove and door locking assembly for a solid fuel burning stove
There is provided a solid fuel burning stove comprising a housing defining a combustion chamber and a door panel pivotally mounted to the housing. The door panel is configurable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The solid fuel burning stove is characterized by having a locking assembly comprising a lever pivotally mounted to the housing and having a hooked portion. The lever is pivotable between an engaged configuration and a disengaged configuration. The locking assembly also has a biasing member operatively connected to the housing and the lever and biasing the lever in the engaged configuration. The locking assembly further comprises a catch provided on the door panel. The hooked portion of the lever is engageable with the catch in the closed configuration of the door panel and the engaged configuration of the lever and is disengageable therefrom by configuring the lever in the disengaged configuration.
