COOKING APPLIANCE HAVING A SPECIFIC DOOR-OPENING DEVICE FOR THE AUTOMATIC PIVOTING OF A RETRACTABLE DOOR OF THE COOKING APPLIANCE, AND METHOD
A cooking appliance includes a door for closing a cooking compartment and a guide device which guides the door when moving into and out of a stowage compartment and includes a guide track in a stowage-compartment delimiting wall and a guide carriage connected to the door and including a guide runner guided in the guide track and connected to a connecting rod of the guide carriage. A door-opening device automatically moves the door between closed and open positions and includes a coupling rod which is mechanically coupled directly to the connecting rod such as to permit a relative movement between the coupling rod and the connecting rod, and which is mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation oriented in a heightwise direction so that, when the coupling rod is pivoted about the axis of rotation, the connecting rod is carried along in a depthwise direction of the cooking appliance.
DOOR FOR AN OVEN WITH DECREASED DISTANCE BETWEEN DOOR AND A LOWER VENT PANEL OR LOWER SECOND DOOR
A door for an oven comprising: a hinge assembly providing an axis of rotation for the door; a glass panel, the glass panel comprising (i) a first primary surface providing an exterior surface of the door that is open to an external environment and (ii) a length parallel to the axis of rotation, and a filler panel disposed (i) at least partially below the glass panel and (ii) at least partially between the axis of rotation and a plane that the first primary surface of the glass panel forms, the filler panel comprising a length parallel to the axis of rotation, and the length of the filler panel differs from the length of the glass panel by less than 5%.
DOOR ASSEMBLY OF AN APPLIANCE HAVING ONE OR MORE ASSEMBLY AIDS
A door assembly for an appliance includes an outer panel, at least one inner panel arranged adjacent to the outer panel, and a hinge assembly for rotatably securing the door assembly to the appliance. The inner panel(s) includes a first set of apertures. The first set of apertures includes a first aperture and a second aperture. The hinge assembly is secured between the outer and inner panels. The hinge assembly includes a hinge body and a hinge extending from the hinge body. The hinge body defines at least one locating feature and at least one retaining feature formed integrally therewith. The locating feature(s) is received within the first aperture so as to position the inner panel in a desired configuration. The retaining feature(s) is received within the second aperture so as to retain the inner panel in the desired configuration. Further, the door assembly includes one or more fasteners securing the outer panel, the inner panel, and the hinge body together.
MICROWAVE COOKING APPLIANCE WITH ARTICULATING BOTTOM
A microwave cooking appliance allowing better access into the cooking cavity. The microwave cooking appliance may include a bottom articulating from the housing. The appliance may include an actuator. The appliance may include one or more linkage members connected to the actuator and bottom. The appliance may include a linkage track guiding the one or more linkage members and/or bottom between positions.
Oven door hinge
Present invention is related to a door hinge for opening and closing a door, the door hinge including: a fixing member fixed to the door frame of the oven range; an operating frame that is rotatably connected to the fixing member and is fixed to the door to open and close the door; a hinge bracket configured to rotatably connecting the operating frame to the fixing member, wherein the hinge bracket includes: a plate connected with the inside of the lower end of the operating frame, and a gap holding member having a first end, a second end, and in a shape of a “” at the center thereof for forming a space, wherein the first end of the gap holding member is connected to a lower end of the plate, and the second end of the gap holding member is connected to lower end of the fixing member.
Cooking appliance
A cooking appliance is provided such that upper and front surfaces of a housing are open and a door can open and close the upper and front surfaces of the housing. The cooking appliance having such a configuration can provide an expanded passage required to enable a user to easily and conveniently insert or withdraw food or a tray into or from a cooking compartment.
Blade hinge assembly with closure mechanism
A household appliance hinge includes a mounting portion and a mounting tab including a cam profile. A door mounting lever is pivotally connected to the mounting tab of the mounting portion. A spring-biased control system is connected to the door mounting lever and includes a spring-biased cam follower system including a cam follower that: (i) engages the cam profile in an engagement position and for all positions of the door mounting lever between the engagement position and a first operative position; and, (ii) separates from the cam profile for all positions of said door mounting lever located between the engagement position and a second operative position. The hinge is self-latching.
Appliance door hinge assembly
An appliance includes an appliance body having a front panel defining a connector slot. A hinge receiver is coupled with the appliance body and has opposing side walls defining a receiving space therebetween. The hinge receiver includes a first striker positioned above a second striker. The first and second strikers are aligned with the connector slot. A hinge arm assembly includes a hinge arm configured to engage with the second striker and a latch cam hingedly coupled with the hinge arm. The latch cam is movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position, and a top surface of the latch cam abuts the first striker in the engaged position. A door is rotatably coupled with the appliance body by the hinge receiver and the hinge assembly and is rotatable about a door axis between open and closed positions.
METHOD FOR DATA COMMUNICATION WITH A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE BY A MOBILE COMPUTER DEVICE, MOBILE COMPUTER DEVICE AND DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
A method for controlling a smart appliance via a mobile device is disclosed herein. The mobile device is in communication with the smart appliance. The method includes the steps of sensing a current value of an operational feature of the smart appliance, communicating the current value to the mobile device, determining whether the current value matches another value that is related to the one operational feature, generating instructions to the smart appliance to adjust its current value to match the another value if the current and another values do not match, and communicating these instructions to the smart appliance. The method can be executed by software.
METHOD FOR DATA COMMUNICATION WITH A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE BY A MOBILE COMPUTER DEVICE, MOBILE COMPUTER DEVICE AND DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance is disclosed having a sensing element that is arranged and configured to detect a current value of an operational feature. A memory is present which includes a database of a table of data of other values related to the operational features. Via a processor, the cooking appliance can access the database and compare the current and other values. When the current and other values do not match, the processor can then generate instructions to a control unit to cause the cooking appliance to adjust its settings such that the current value matches the other value. The operational features may include operating temperature, temperature setting, mode of heat generation and other settings on the cooking appliance.
