A mounting bracket mountable to the underside of the cabinet prior to the range hood and configured to engage and support the range hood as the range hood is secured to the cabinet. The mounting bracket having a support feature engagable to the range hood to hold the range hood proximate the cabinet while fasteners are sunk to secure the range hood to the cabinet. The mounting brackets are pre-positioned on the cabinet such that range hood is aligned with the cabinet when the range hood is supported by the support feature. The smaller mounting brackets can be more easily mounted in the proper position on the cabinet then the larger range 10 hood speeding the installation process and reducing errors.

The present disclosure relates to a ventilation apparatus. The ventilation apparatus of the present disclosure comprises: a casing; a suction device accommodated in the casing and having a suction fan for generating a suction force for sucking in air; and a vortex forming device accommodated in the casing and having a swirler rotating below the casing to form a vortex and a driving motor for rotating the swirler, wherein the swirler includes a rotating plate having an air passage hole and a plurality of blades arranged and spaced apart in a circumferential direction along the rim of the rotating plate, and the vortex forming device is positioned lower than the rotation center of the suction fan in the casing.

A microwave oven includes a housing that defines a cavity therein, a heating source configured to heat an object in the cavity, an exhaust device disposed at a lower portion of the housing, a door that is connected to the housing and defines a suction hole configured to receive air from an outside of the door and a discharge hole configured to discharge the air received through the suction hole, and a display disposed at a front surface of the door.

A ventilation hood is provided. The ventilation hood includes a housing provided above a heating cooker and having an air suction port on a lower surface thereof, a blowing fan provided in the housing to induce air to the air suction port, and a panel provided below the housing to form an airflow path between the lower surface of the housing and the panel, wherein the panel faces the air suction port with a gap therebetween to cover the air suction port so that air is sucked into the airflow path from a front of an upstream opening of the airflow path as the blowing fan operates.

A smoke director device for a cooking device includes a housing containing an extendable and retractable smoke director assembly and a mounting assembly for removably attaching the smoke director device to the underside of an over the stove exhaust system such as those included in microwave ovens. The housing includes a front opening through which the smoke director assembly extends and retracts, a rear opening to guide smoke and other particulates towards the exhaust system and a bottom opening to further capture any rising smoke and particulates. The smoke director assembly can include a fixed inner panel located in the housing, a movable end panel and a movable intermediate panel. The smoke director assembly can be tiltable relative to the housing, to angle the smoke director assembly relative to a cook surface of the stove.

A range hood configured to direct exhaust from a cooktop toward a blower assembly. The blower assembly and the range hood are configured to be attached to cabinetry having a predetermined opening between at least two cabinets included in the cabinetry. A barrier is placed around the predetermined opening to guard against damage to surfaces around the range hood.

A wall-mounting installation kit for a kitchen hood (1), comprises a functional module (2); a covering element (5) connectable to the functional module (2) and adapted to define an outer casing of the hood (1); a first fixing element (10) configured to be fixed to the wall and to the functional module (2); a second fixing element (14) configured to be fixed to the wall and to the covering element (5). The kitchen hood may be lengthened or shortened based on the sensed height of the cookware, and a speed of the fan and the height of the kitchen hood may be automatically adjusted based on detections by the air quality sensor assembly.
